Crash: "Keep Lines Together" (All) and disabled "Allow Split Footnotes" crashes InDesign if there are footnotes in a table
100% reproducible on InDesign 15.0.2 on Windows 10.
Sample document for easy reproduction: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iirawdsvd27l95l/indesign%20crash.indd?dl=1
Starting point:
1. I have a table containing some footnotes.
2. Footnotes are not allowed to be split.
3. The table (including footnotes) doesn't fit in the frame, so the last row jumps to the next frame.
To crash InDesign:
1. Place the text marker in the paragraph containing the table.
2. Go to Keep Options.
3. Check "Keep Lines Togheter" and "All Lines in Paragraph".
Result: InDesign immediately hangs and you have to force quit.
Please fix? Should be easy to track down the internal cause with the sample document and reliable reproduction. :)
Ps: This was a bit time consuming to track down when my document spanned 100 pages and changes many pages away caused the table to move and crash InDesign. -.-
Thanks for reporting the issue. We are reviewing it

If it's any help locating the problem, it seems to be related to the recomposition engine. I've had fussy tables in I design for as long as I've been able to make tables in InDesign, but the file I'm fighting with now has all kinds of weirdness happening. Sometimes when I force recompose a page with a table on it, the page is blank after the table and the remaining text flows onto the next page. Sometimes I can get a table that spans two pages to behave if I make the text frame extra wide, but as soon as I resize the frame to the correct size, InDesign locks up. It seems like it's unable to decide whether or not to repeat the column heads on the second page. It could also be having trouble calculating whether or not the footnotes in the table will fit on the page.
The recomposition engine has a number of problems that I've reported on; this seems to be just another.

I'm having the same issue, has there been a fix for this?
It's been a year since this issue was raised, i really hope something has been done about it as my entire job relies on keep options
