When using a javascript to remove a table row, Adobe Indesign crashes.
This happens when a table has only 2 rows. The table contains a header row and your script tries to remove the only body row.2 votesHi,

I will work with older versions in the future and hope that any new player will find a better software.It would not be wrong with a phone number on the website, but you're probably ashamed.

We have fixed a number of crashes with InDesign’s latest Nov’18 update.
Please download the latest InDesign version (InDesign CC 14.0.1) for the fix.List of crashes and other issues that have been fixed with the update can be found at the below provided link:

Eyedropper in tables (ME indesign 2018) crashing
Using the latest copy of indesign ME and everytime i use the eyedropper tool on a table it immediately crashes

Adobe InDesign/InCopy cannot be opened because of a problem
InCopy will not launch in macOS 10.11.5 and 10.12.6. This is happening on two different computers, one a 2015 13" MacBook Pro with Retina and one a 2017 MacBook Pro with TouchBar. Have attempted uninstall/reinstalls as well as removing preference files.
I'm attaching the InCopy report from 10.12.6 computer but the 10.11.5 computer is currently off-site. I can add it later if I need to.
I'm also attaching a screenshot of the error message returned by InCopy when I try to launch the application.

Crash on Launch
When launching InDesign and Illustrator 2018, I get the attached alert. Illustrator will always show this alert but does function. InDesign will always show this alert and it opens once. Thereafter it will crash on launch every time until I reinstall it and then I get one launch again and repeated crashes on launch until I reistall. This is on two separate Macs running HIgh Sierra

InDesign 12.1.0.56 Mac crashes when launching files from Box.com
Cannot click on file on Box.com or without crashing InDesign. DO not have problem on other computers with older versions of InDesign.

Indesign Crashes when updating any document which uses SkyFonts fonts.(Provided that SkyFont is exited)
Steps:
SFC Build: 5.9.2.0(Prod build- also from long time before that) 5.9.2.118
Indesign Build: 2017.1 Release (12.1.0.56 x64 Build)Steps:
Launch SkyFonts and Indesign.
Create a new document in indesign and use some trial fonts which are available in skyfonts.
Exit the SkyFont client.
Try to update the document.

Image placing issue
Hi,
Whenever I place two or three images, the software becomes unresponsive and gets stuck. I have to force-close the application and restart it to continue working.

l'import d'image fait buger le logiciel
Depuis plusieurs semaines, lorsque j'importe un fichier (jpeg, png, eps, ...) dans mon design l'application est ralentie voir à l'arrêt.; Le curseur se transforme en roue de chargement. Je ne peux plus fermer le fichier et l'application. Je suis obligé de passer par le gstionnaire de tâche.

Puntero de mouse queda trabado con icono de reloj y permite trabajar a medias
Apenas se abre el programa y selecciono una herramienta, el puntero queda trabado con ese icono, permite seleccionar menues pero no puedo hacer nada mas y es mucho peor cuando inserto una imagen, se crashea todo y es imposible tener un flujo de trabajo, no se soluciona incluso al reiniciar el programa. La unica forma de salir es a través de el finalizardor de tareas.

After roughly 10–15 minutes of normal use, the pointer stops behaving correctly. No specific action seems to trigger it — it just starts happening during regular work. The pointer either disappears completely or displays a random shape unrelated to the current tool or action. Tables are causing a crash every time I attempt to split or merge a cell in a table.
In Adobe InDesign 2026 (21.5.1) I am unable to work in tables. Any time I attempt to merge two cells or split a cell vertically or horizontally I experience a crash. I had to downgrade to 20.5.5 to get tables to work correctly. MacOS Tahoe Version 26.2.2.

Adobe InDesign Freezes and Does Not Close
Adobe InDesign frequently freezes while I am working. The application becomes completely unresponsive, and the mouse pointer changes to the blue spinning loading cursor. I cannot close the program normally and have to force it to close using Task Manager.
This issue interrupts my work and may cause unsaved changes to be lost. Please investigate the cause and provide a solution.

Issues with running GREP formula more than once
InDesign Version: 21.4.1
I am formatting an Author Index. Some of the authors in the book that I am working on come in with multiple authors per paragraph with the corresponding page number listed once at the end. I use GREP to separate the authors onto their own lines with the page number.

Color Issue on Appearance Panel
When trying to change the color on the appearance panel, there is an audible sound on my MacBook, like I can't select it.
I have an example, a regular rectangle, I tried to change the color under the appearance panel and it makes that sound and it won't let me change the color. Ive deleted and reinstalled inDesign, cleared settings, restarted the computer, and the issue persists. I've also opened different files, and new files for testing it and it still does the same thing. I'm on the lates version 21.4.1, not on a beta of macOS either.1 vote
