Text wrap select subject or user-modified path causes hang ID 16.1
Using ID v 16.1 on an iMac running Catalina.
To reproduce: I just have to touch any image that has select subject or user-modified path text wrap applied and attempt to move it or modify it in any way. One image just caused the hang by existing, I couldn't work on the file until I deleted it.
Expected result: For the text to wrap around the image without causing program to hang.
Actual result: endless beach ball spinning until I force quit and try again.I just spent the entire day trying to work on a large project (200 pages…

bullet numbering not resetting
To make numbered lists automatically reset between body copy text, I set body copy to be a numbered list without any numbering at level 1.
Numbered lists are level 2. With tick box 'reset numbers at this level after Any Previous Level'
But the numbered list doesn't get reset when there are body copy between.
It only resets if the level 1 paragraph style is actually numbering.

Variable fonts: Feature Variations not working
In the current version of Adobe CC, Variable fonts’ Feature Variations are not working. Please have a look at the Trial version of my typeface Pangea (https://fontwerk.com/de/fonts/pangea-superfamily):
https://christoph.koe.berlin/_temp/PangeaVAR_Trial_2.000.ttfAxes for Weight, Italic, Apertures, Extenders, Inktraps and Spacing are working, but as soon as you move the sliders of the the last axes (Single-storey a, single-storey g and Straight l) the font is marked as missing and jumps back to the basic style.
- InDesign version 16.1, MacOS 10.14.6 and above
- Steps to reproduce the issues: Install font via FontBook, move sliders in last three axes
- Expected result: Glyphs a, g,…

textframe loses focus
Since having my computer upgraded to Catalina (10.15.7), InDesign (both 14.0.2 and 16.1) loses focus when I click off of a text frame. I’ve attached a video made in 16.1.
When I click off a graphic frame, behavior is normal—I can immediately click another element on the page. But when I click off a text frame, note how the Swatches panel disappears and I must click again on the page so InDesign regains focus so that I can then select another element on the page.1 vote -

Letters 'fl' become invisible
Adobe CC 16.1 x64
Paragraph style applied to text in text frame:
[No Paragraph Style] + next: [Same style] + Helvetica Narrow + Oblique +size: 10 pt + left indent: 0.4375 in + first indent: -0.125 - hyphenation + tint: 90% + list: bulletedWhen I type "cash flow" the fl both become invisible as soon as I type the 'l'. Does not happen with any other paragraph style. Does not show as being a different style or color or anything. Letters are still there because I can highlight the space they take up.
How can these become visible?

African Ajami diacritics not shaping properly
InDesign Version 16.01 and 16.1
InDesign is not properly shaping Arabic diacritics that are used for African languages. When typing the African diacritics they do not attach properly to the base letter and they break script connection. If they African diacritics are substituted for MSA diacritics using Stylistic Sets then it works properly. This problems occurs for all variants of the African Damma.

Outlined text
I'm using InDesign v 16.1 for a Mac. I just encountered an issue with outlining text. As you can see in the "Display in Preview" png, all of the text is visible and matches what I actually see in InDesign. All of this text is outlined by pressing command + O. When you look at the "Display in Acrobat" png, the yellow outlined text appears to be transparent. Again, all of the text in the png files are outlined. This issue is also visible at our print shop. The workaround I found is just to keep the text live, but…

In the current version of InDesign (16.1), there is often a font error that shuffles the entire content. It usually occurs in the font "Frutiger 77 Black condensed".
My system: Dell Optiplex 3060, Core i5 3.20Ghz, Ram 16GB, NVIDIA GT 730 graphics card.

conditional text leaves a bullet with blank line when using a bullet list
Indesign v16
We use conditional text and have noticed that using bullets with this would leave a lone bullet when swtiching the conditional text off. There's a work around to and a line break and switch the bullets off which allows the condition to work as expected.
Would expect bullets to work with conditional text without the need for an extra line, this is flagging as overset text in some cases as well.
To reproduce the issue:
Set a few lines of text to bullet style
apply conditional text to the lines
Switch view of conditional text off

Bullets Problem
Bullets are not aligned with the text. It will be better if you restart the program. It also doesn't do that when you want to add bullets. If you want to add bullets, you have to restart.

Spellcheck Bug
Spellcheck/User Dictionary keeps defaulting to random languages and cannot not be changed. I've changed my preferences to English (US) several times manually and it will not fix the problem. Please fix this bug.

widespread issues with unicode fonts (tibetan) and footnotes
macos 10.13.6, ID 15.1.3
completely wacky behaviour of footnotes in combination with unicode tibetan fonts (dduchen, noto, babelstone tibetan). fn numbers in text do not follow formatting, in footnote reference numbers are only one digit (most of the time) and sometimes proper digits (occacionally). odd spaces before letters and words (all fonts), strange behavior with formate changes. this is as ********* as it gets.1 vote -
Display QuickBooks Hidden Files and Folders in Windows
<a href="https://www.quickbookspremiersupport.us/display-hidden-files-and-folders-using-windows/">Windows operating system hides many files and folders</a> by default, in order to prevent the users from deleting or modifying files that shouldn’t be touched at all. However, the user can make windows show these hidden files by changing a single setting.
