CEPHtmlEngine (as seen in activity monitor)
Using Indesign CC 2020 on Macos Catalina 10.15.1
Sometimes one of these CEPHtmlEngines (7 or 8, I don't know what these processes do, and 'helpers') uses to 80%, the fan goes up, sometimes a beachball. What can I do to ged rid of this??

Indesign march 2020: still no good: vent still blowing with a lot of noise because of more than 100 % CPU usage (iMac latest software Catalina). I can kill the process (force quit) and then it stays away for some time. Does anyone of the adobe staff read this??

I just found that https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/high_cpu_usage_cephtmlengine.html is a little outdated but it goes like this:
Shut down all Adobe apps.
right-click on Indesign app > show package content > Contents> > Resources > CEP > extensions > com.adobe.DesignLibraries.angular
Delete all contents of this last folder (after a backup of this folder) and replace it with the contents of the downloaded DL 2.2.4 folder
Also do this for PS and AI
I've done so, am still monitoring if this is a solution, but the apps work fine seemingly.

I get the same thing. INdesign 2020 on High Sierra 10.13.6 Pain in the butt to do simple text edits. my fan is always on while im working and the processor is irradic. tried this that a pal sent me.... https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/high_cpu_usage_cephtmlengine.html but it's old and couldn't find folders.
Insupportable.
Une réinstallation du logiciel ne change rien…
