Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Joel Goodman commentedRavi how do I access/install a Beta Build "pre-release" version?
An error occurred while saving the comment Joel Goodman commentedThe last 2-3 available updates of InDesign have a serious bug relating to spellchecking. When choosing "Check Spelling" the spellchecker process works for a few results but then eventually crashes InDesign completely. I've had this occur with all my InDesign files some 1 page, some magazine length, some using English UK; some using English US. I've tried copying the text out to a plain text editor, and re-pasting it back in with brand new text frames, copying and pasting entire file content to brand new InDesign files, Clearing InDesign preferences, etc. but the problem keeps occurring.
An error occurred while saving the comment Joel Goodman commentedThis is still a constant issue. Multiple files. Check Spelling crashes InDesign constantly. It is unusable. Has been happening for months now over various updates. Has Adobe Acknowledged this issue?
Joel Goodman shared this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Joel Goodman commentedhi this is happening to me too, after doing latest update earlier today. can't run spellchecker at all anymore as if I do the whole InDesign app disappears/crashes. tried dumping preferences in InDesign and restarting Mac, but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Joel Goodman commentedI'm having the same issue. Also, every time I use the spellchecker; InDesign crashes. Completely disappears. Brochure/Book/Magazine publishing has become virtually useless in InDesign with this bug

An error occurred while saving the comment Joel Goodman commentedAny more news on this one?
any news on whether this has been reviewed and planned for inclusion? it really is dangerous nonsensical the way outlines currently drop paragraph rules, bullets, etc.
