Can't share from Adobe Comp CC on the iPad (which is the whole reason I signed up for a trial)
Sharing to InDesign causes Comp CC to Crash! The whole reason I signed up for the InDesign trial is to see how it works with Comp. Please fix or extend my trial until this has ben handled!
The issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign – InDesign 2021.
Please update to this new version of InDesign to get the fix.

I love using Comp to lay things out. But it's useless if I can't open it in InDesign. Work this out!!

Exactly the same problem here (from Adobe Comp on Android to InDesign on Windows 10)! Is anyone from Adobe working on this issue? Or are there any workarounds - i.e. like an "Import from Cloud"-option in Indesign, that would give us the ability to actively import a previously sent Adobe Comp file?

I need to send from Comp on my iPad to Indesign on my iMac every day and can't do it. Costs me several hours per week. Please prioritize this fix.

Steve W. suggested that I add my comments to this reporting thread as well. I am using Adobe Comp on the iPad. I can easily upload the Comp file to Photoshop and Illustrator, but not to InDesign. Instead, I get an error message from InDesign saying "Cannot open the file 'Project.idml'. Adobe InDesign may not support the file format, a plug-in that supports the file format may be missing, or the file may be open in another application." I know that InDesign does indeed support .idml files, and also I do not currently have the file open in another application. Presumably, that only leaves the possibility that a required plug-in is missing inside of InDesign, or there is some programming glitch inherent to InDesign. I'm hoping that this issue can be resolved soon by the InDesign engineering team.

In my case, the Comp said "Sent" and InDesign said "Error. Could not open" or sth similar, I am not at work at the moment. The issue repeats constantly. I use updated software and iPad Pro.

I tested Comp CC in InDesign 2020 and it produced the error attached. There were similar reports in the InDesign and Comp forums.
I got the same error in InDesign CC 2019 (which had worked a few months ago).

InDesign V 15.0.1
Comp V 3.0.5.16
Brand new iPad Pro, up to dateTried to send layouts from Comp on iPad to InDesign on iMac and noting happens. Comp confirms sent, nothing appears anywhere in InDesign. Both apps signed into same ACC account.
When I get into my Creative Cloud, Under the "Your Work" tab, I then click on the Globe and go to Cloud Documents and then Mobile Creations, and they seem to be there, but if there is a way to get it from there into indesign I am unaware.
All the tutorials seem to display the layout opening automatically in InDesign without all the fuss...
... Glitch with Id 15.0.1 ?

Neither Comp nor InDesign crash when attempting to share from Comp to Id, but nothing happens. Comp says sent, but nothing pops up in Id and there's no errors or messages or anything. Im logged into the same adobe account in both, same network etc. Nothing.

I get a dialouge box in Indesign CC when eksportering/transferring project from Adobe Comp cc on my mobile device to laptop with InDesign CC.
It says - losely translated from danish:
"The file "filename.idml" can not be opened. Adobe Indesign doesn't support this file format. You might be missing an extra module that supports this format or the file is possibly open in another program.See attached screenshot.
How do I solve this? It works when sending to photoshop and illustrator. Used to work with InDesign too.
