This has only been half fixed.

The share buttons cannot be seen on comp on ios unless you are actively editing the project.

If you have just tapped on the project the share button isn't working

Indesign 15.02, Comp on ipad pro 3.05.16. Is Adobe abandoning Comp files cannot be opened in Indesign? Likewise in Illustrator, best you can do is a PDF that can be edited, but that only gets you half the way.

So will it it be fixed, is there a timeline, or is the community wasting their time asking?

Still not fixed. I send an email at the beginning of 2020. Can’t open file in Indesign (2019 or 2020). Does not work with idml file. Why is this still not fixed!! The app Adobe Comp is great but is of no use if you can’t open files in Indesign on your desktop/laptop.

I see so much comment on the internet about this and can’t believe Adobe has still not fixed this problem.

This is an old an nagging problem. Along with the line running through type. Can't this be fixed?

Having this same issue. No errors reported. Comp on iPad confirms sent, but nothing happens on the desktop. Went from being seamless last summer to being useless.

This needs to be fixed! I have 3 years work to convert. Adobe, are you there?

Im having the exact same issue.
Back when i started using comp everything was working smoothly.
then all of a sudden. the ipad (adobe comp) reported the file was sent. but nothing opened on the computer.
back then i tried everything (This was in 2019 november'ish). testing with a Windows computer and a Mac laptop with up to date installations of the adobe package.
i was searching the internet thin for maybe a hint of a solution. but nothing was found :(
in the end i just gave up.
then now in 2020 i decided to see if i could solve the anoying issue once and for all.
and to my amazement i were able to send to all other programs than indesign, witch is the only program i need it to work for.

but atleast indesign opens now. with a the message attached to this comment. i have tried everything to solve this but with no luck.
only thing i dident try is reinstalling my computer completely. i am not willing to do that !

Same. Please fix this issue. We spend hours on a project on iPad, only to have to REDO it all on the computer because the file wont transfer.

With InDesign (ver. 15) I've getting this pop-up: "...idml won't open..." Comp's share with Illustrator and Photoshop works fine.

Can´t share from Adobe Comp CC on the iPad to InDesign

Having the same issue as everyone else...have absolutely no way to get my work from Adobe Comp to InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop . Kind of a necessary feature...

sending files from Comp to Indesign has not worked for a few months now. When do you plan to fix that? There is no answer as to whether this will be fixed at all

Still not working sending comp to InDesign. It seems odd that Adobe put so much development and promotion effort on this flow from Comp to InDesign but it doesn't work. Have spoken to an expert trainer at linked in learning on this and they are at a loss as well. Please get a fix for us.

great concept but useless unless it works all the time - otherwise I'm wasting my already tight schedule. Sometimes I can get it to open in illustrator othe rtimes not - and more importantly never in InDesign which would be more valuable.

I have exactly this problem too. It used to work fine and was a useful part of my workflow. Is anyone at Adobe doing anything about this?
