publish online navigation buttons disappear in browsers and don't come back
When I view a published document, the browser based navigation buttons and menu for downloading disappear after a couple seconds and don't come back without hitting F5. This is unworkable. Please change it so the nav arrows remain on the screen, even in full screen mode. I can't have my clients struggling to go to the next page. This happens in Chrome and Firefox. In Edge, they disappear, but will reappear if I move my mouse to the edge of the screen - also very frustrating because I just want to click through the document without struggling to find the arrows. This is a browser issue, NOT a document issue - this happens with ALL documents.
This issue has now been fixed for the browsers which were showing this anomalous behavior.
Please check to see if it is working fine now and let us know if the problem still occurs for you.

The problem is not completely resolved. On Android devices it is not possible to use the Zoom function. This function is extremely important for the user to be able to view the presentation in different screen formats.

yea! great! Now it's working. But there is a detail still, the zoom does not work on cell phones.
In google Chrome and also in Microsoft Edge the zoom does not work, the page is static.
In safari and firefox, you can zoom in and out of the page.
On pc it also works normally.

My suggestion: html5 - The hard thing is to pay for an Adobe service that works halfway!
I've already given up, it doesn't work and that's it, and they don't want to solve it for some reason we mere mortals don't know! Use the IN5 plugin in INDESIGN, it is paid. Unfortunately we're going to have to pay for something ADOBE SAYS INDESIGN does, but it doesn't!

What is being done?
Can someone from ADOBE tell us what they are doing to solve it?I just tested and the problems continue!

Can't believe this isn't fixed after all these years of it existing and people complaining about it.

Hello everyone,
The workaround could be adding buttons on the document and adding the action of next page and previous page respectively.
Hope it helps

We are living in a new reality, where digital documents are a must have.
Maybe a definite solution doesn't exist yet but if you can share any work around the issue it would be helpful. Thanks in advance. -

Just completed a project for a client for this forthcoming Holiday Season to discover it doesn't work on Android. If Adobe wants this technology to be taken seriously they need to sort it!

Anyone actually seen any news from adobe on this since nov 2020??

I'm having the same problem. (today is 19.10.21 - the first report dates from 2018 😩) You cannot have only one way to publish indesign animated docs, and this doesn't work properly. Nowadays there's no way to leave mobile response for later.
Bad call, adobe team...

Still an issue with Android devices when anything is published online. Sad in these times of online teaching.

Adding to my below comment. It used to work in Edge on mobile but now the nav bar disappears on that browser too.

Any resolution to this issue? We send out a monthly magazine and iPhone users can open it and scroll through it with no problem. Android users can open it, but then can do nothing. Seems to be a bug that has been out there for a long time, but no one has addressed this.
