InDesign CC 2018/High Sierra - Cannot package files
Since updating to High Sierra I am not able to package files. The error message is simply "Unable to package the document. InDesign cannot access '(file name'.indd).
I am using InDesign CC 13.0.1 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.1
Don't know if this is of any use or not, but also if I try using my bulk packaging script, the error I get is "undefined is not an object (line 186)
Hello All,
The issue has been fixed with Apple’s MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Beta (17E139).
You can try out the fix by updating your machine to the beta update from Apple.
Let us know if the issue is fixed for you after aforementioned High Sierra beta update.
Thanks,

Err message: InDesign could not package the document '{File Name.indd}'. Cannot Package Folders.
APPLE OS: High Sierra V.10.13.6
Indesign V.14.0
Date: November 14, 2018Notes: File has 2 links. I tried packaging with symbolic links, and with embedded links. Neither work.
Notes: File would not package to a server, but would package directly to hard drive.
Notes: Until now, I've never had issues with packaging with InDesign, to the server or hard drive. -

Hello,
I am also having trouble exporting/packaging PDFS from InDesign. We just updated to CC (just got it yesterday - 4.7.0.00) and I am using High Sierra 10.13.6. It seems to always fail in the background. No missing links, or anything. It seems to package the fonts, links first and then quits on me.

I have the same issue as Karen McDonald. I am using MAC OS High Sierra 10.13
When I go to package in InDesign Creative Cloud, my packaging window's width is huge, and I can't grab the corner to correct it. Any ideas?

Indesign 5.5 still refuses to package fonts in High Sierra 10.13.6. Or package any document links, fonts, etc.
Is there a solution out there? Would be useful to know.
Thanks -

I am using CS5.5 and OS 10.13.6 and I cannot package a single font. Even a blank text box causes ID package to fail. Packaging used to work fine until recently. I can still package objects, but fonts simply don't work even though they are nice little play with everyone Adobe and Google fonts.

I also can't package files. It goes through the steps and then no folder appears but also no error messages.
I'm using High Sierra 10.13.4 and CC 2018 InDesign Version 13

I am operating 10.13.4 as of April 25 and fonts won't package so essentially the file wont get past the font issue and nothing packages. Am I missing a beta update?

Same issue still persisting. Super frustrating.
Am able to save and package to own computer and able to save to server but unable to package to server. Please solve this issue as it really does hinder a good workflow.
Running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3 can't get my hands on the beta 10.13.4, but as others write, it doesn´t really seem to make any difference anyhow.
