Hello, have the same bug and I'm also at the opinion that this bug is awkward for Adobe, particularly when it already exists in the beta versions of High Sierra. It always happens when the computer goes to sleep. After waking up the bug appears.
Temporarely workaround: Restart InDesign

If Adobe wants to host this online Creative Cloud system, with it's prime advantage being that products will be kept up to date, then they are obligated to keep said products up to date. This is a failure on Adobe's part. The occasion small bug is understandable, but this is a major bug.

Not sure how flaws like this even slip through - it is insanely annoying and stopping me from doing ANY work!

Why couldn't you have emailed us if you knew about this problem BEFORE high sierra was publically released!

How is it possible that this bug has not been fixed yet?
Major issue and labelling one of your flagship programmes, used by professionals day in day out totally useless and impossible to use.
Not acceptable.

Same thing here. It takes al little bit too long to resolve this. Going back to 10.12 is not really a nice option to offer.

This is ridiculous. Why is this not fixed yet! InDesign is useless with this error.
