Option-Click/Drag to duplicate spread does not work anymore with MacOS 11.0.1 update
- InDesign 15.1.3
- To Duplicate Spreads in Pages Panel — Option-Click/Drag to duplicate spread does not work anymore with MacOS 11.0.1 update. It used to with previous MacOS.
- Expected Result: the grab hand would have a plus sign, then duplicate spread.
- Actual Result: The grab hand operates as "Move" not "Duplicate".
Right/Click Duplicate does, however (but who has that much time? : )

cannot create new document
Adobe InDesign 2021 - When I click on "Create new document" I get a grey pop-up window where I cannot click on anything. Any suggestions?

Bug with InDesign 16 Word and Textedit
I noticed a huge performance bug.
When I am working on a book with many pages and switch to an app like Word or Textedit and then back to InDesign, I get a beach ball for 30–60s. Only in InDesign. When I quit Word or Textedit, the beach ball disappears and InDesign runs normal again.

Text Frame Issues
Can't find this so hopefully this is new, but every time I nudge a text box with my arrow keys it ends up somehow shrinking the box or something because I get an arrow saying there's text outside the frame. It's fine... I nudge it once with the arrow key and I get the little red error box in the corner.

Smart guides not working at all
Snap to grid and smart guides or any function where cursor automatically snaps to edge, corner, or center point is not working. I am currently using version 16.0. I have restarted the program 5 times. All of these features are check marked and turned on despite the features not working at all.
I will not work on my project because of this issue. I need to rely on the precise support of smart guides and snap to guides in order to do what I have to do. I'm very disappointed with this bug and upset I'm set back so much…

Short cuts keys no longer work in InDesign 2021
After updating to macOS 11.0.1, Big Sur, short cut keys, "save as..." no longer work.

There are no shortcuts for important usual actions!
I can't add shortcut to:
1. Auto text reflow, in presences panel
2. Show\hide thumbnails, in pages panelVery helpful shortcut !

Interactive pdf export adds %0D to the end of links
InDesign keeps adding %0D%0D to the end of my hyperlinks. I had searched this topic and found a few other forums with a similar problem. I tried other people's suggestions of making sure no spaces or returns were at the end or adding a / to the end of the link, but still nothing worked. I finally gave up on InDesign and just manually added the links in Acrobat after exporting. But that is not a good solution. Please fix this Adobe. My version is 16.0.

Disappearing cursor with Big Sur v11.0.1 and InCopy 2019 v14.0.2
Last month, we had issues with InCopy 2020, so we switched back to the more reliable 2019 version. Now, I (foolishly) updated the Big Sur (version 11.0.1) and now my cursor has disappeared and I have tried every suggestion to no avail (restarting the program, restarting the computer, and trashing InCopy preferences).
I'm running InCopy 2019 (v 14.0.2) on my 2017 iMac Pro, 3.2 GHz 8-core Intel Xeon W, with 64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4.
Any suggestions would be helpful (and by the way, I can't see the cursor in Layout, Story, or Galley mode).

eye dropper tool missing
Return the eyedropper to the tool panel. I rely on this tool daily and suddenly, it is gone. Why would Adobe take this away? I'm really annoyed. It looks like other people posted this same question a year ago, but mine was here on Friday and today it's not.

autocorrect
Autocorrect and spellcheck do not work on my version of Indesign CC 2020.
I have all options turned on, and it doesn't work at all.
Please assist as is hugely frustrating!!!

point scale indication
When reducing a block of text, the point measure indicates both the original point size and the new point size. I am sure someone finds this useful, I don't.
I'd like to be able to get Indd to forget the old size so I can adjust the point size directly and accurately again.
If this can already be done, It is not readily apparent as to how.1 vote -
Frustrated - lagging pointer
In order to get my mouse cursor to a legible size, I need to enlarge the cursor size in system preferences.
But I just determined with a tech support after 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES. That enlarging my cursor is causing lag in InDesign.
He said (paraphrasing), "It's your fault for not upgrading to Big Sur."
I said, "Well is OSX Mojave supported in InDesign 2021??"
He said, "Yes."
I said, "I want to report this as a bug."

Adobe PDF presets / exports not working in InDesign CC 2021 (v16.0)

Adobe PDF Presets initially worked in CC 2021 when first updated. (I don't know what version that was.) And they worked as recently as last week for me. Today however, none of the presets work, whether the original ones or custom presets I created. I went back to v15.1.3 and all the same presets work correctly.

Indesign 16.0 crash when I publish for review an indesign document contain 36 pages with some AI imports.
I can publish other simply indesign documents.
I can't understand why.

Some spreads gone grey and only export as blank pages
I have an account report getting some problems. Some spreads have suddenly gone grey - as you see in screenshot. In the Pages panel they appear blank and when I export them - also blank. When I try to fix the page or add a new one the program unexpectedly quits.

Shortcuts 'Open' and 'New' not working when ID starts for the first time after quit
Key commands for 'Open' and 'New' are not working when InDesign starts for the first time after quit or restart.
However as a workaround I've discovered I can get things working again if I go to InDesign > Preferences > General and just click OK . For some reason that brings the functionality back.
Please provide a patch soon :)
