1. Command "O" does not always work

   Opening documents with Command "O" does not always work. Many times I have to go back to the Home Screen to open a document. This is both in the current release and the Beta.

2. Ralentissements constants - latence

   Application version = InDesign 16.1
   Ordinateur = Macbook Pro avec puce M1

   Steps to reproduce the issues
   Le bug est que à tout moment, pendant que je suis entrain d'écrire, en train d'intégrer une image.. sans crier gare, InDesign fige complètement et m'empêche de faire quoi que ce soit d'autre jusqu'à ce qu'il dégèle.
   Quelques fois, ça se produit peu, et à d'autres occasions, c'est sans arrêts, je veux dire aux 5 - 10 secondes. C'est insoutenable en contexte de production.

   Expected results
   Je m'attends évidemment à ce que je puisse faire mon travail sans interruptions constantes et aussi, en cas de ralentissement, que je puisse faire autre chose en attendant.

   Comme je l'explique, ça bug tout le temps.

3. Looking for InDesign 2020 to install on new MacBook Air

   Hi there, I just got a new MacBook Air and searching my CC for Versions of InDesign 2020. I need it to work together with the publisher app «Wood Wing Studio» which doesn't work on InDesign 2021. But my Creative Cloud only show's me Versions to intall from InDesign 16.0 upwards. I also had InDesign 2020 installed on my old MacBook Pro running on Big Sur and had no problems with it. Is there any solution for this? Thanks!

4. Colour Theme Overlay tool - floating palette does not disappear once tool deselected

   The colour theme overlay tool does not disappear once a different tool from the tool palette has been chosen. In addition, the popup to select different perceptual palettes (Bright, Colourful etc) does not always appear or appears erratically.

5. InDesign links and Box Drive

   This appears to be an issue only with InDesign and Box Drive.

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. In InDesign, link to an Illustrator file or PDF with multiple artboards, layers, or pages from the Box Drive folder.
   2. Place the file and select a single artboard or page.
   3. Save, close, and re-open the file.

   Result:
   The linked file will no longer update. Perpetually needs updating even though the file hasn't changed.
   The workaround is to save the linked file to Adobe Libraries.

   Expected:
   The file link should show that it is updated in the links panel.
    
   System info
       Application: InDesign v16.3.0.5

   This appears to be an issue only with InDesign and Box Drive.

6. Edit -> Duplicate - keyboard shortcut broken

   It has been broken for years actually, you cannot use a keyboard shortcut to duplicate. It's in every version of InDesign for years.

   Easily reproducible - select an object and try to duplicate via keyboard shortcut (command - option - shift - D).

7. Can't save a PDF (low res)

   I am trying to save a PDF (low res) and it stops and spins at 28% complete. It won't save.

8. Picture box, dragging/moving is erratic and tricky

   There is no ghosting or even greeking of the images during a move, scale, and the box often sticks and can't be dropped.

9. right click on the REVEAL in BRIDGE

   When I go to the LInks Panel and right click on Reveal in Bridge, both the 2021 version and this beta take me to the CC App screen, Not Bridge. Bridge is installed and is current

11. Selection Tool cursor disappear issue

    After few hours with no activity on Mac with Silicon disappear the Selection Tool cursor on the artboard. Quit the app and reopen it works as a solution for now.

13. Crashed dialog windows

    Steps to reproduce: First time launch, opened file and didnt dismiss tour window, then opened second file with missing font
     
    Result: both the tour window and the missing font window became stuck open with no way to dismiss either

    Expected: To be able to clear one, then the other

14. Speed up cross references

    Opening the cross reference panel can be painfully slow. This has been an issue since at least InDesign CC, but maybe now is another chance to fix this.

    Behaviour is triggered by size of document and/or number of cross references. E.g. I'm working on a ~200+ pages document with about 150 cross references – both of which isn’t that extreme – and opening the panel takes around 4 minutes (yes, minutes). Interestingly enough, if the panel once opens and I change "Link to" from "paragraph style" to "text anchor", next time the panel opens instantly. Change it back to "paragraph style", go get a coffee in the meantime. As a workaround I split up the document into several documents and put them together in a book. In these smaller docs, opening the panel is more or less instant. However, managing books is not without other drawbacks and using only text anchors for cross references is limiting for no good reason. Pleas, fix this this time around.
