InDesign Application Frame cannot be moved between desktops on macOS Monterey, via Mission Control
The InDesign application frame cannot be moved between desktops on macOS Monterey via dragging the top edge of the window to the top of Mac desktop and then selecting a different desktop to drop it into in Mission Control. This is contrary to behavior in other programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic. InDesign can be moved to a different desktop by dragging it to the left or right edge of the screen but it is preferable to have the functionality using the top of edge of the current desktop so the desired window can be chosen. Preview 'glitching' when changing fonts in text blocks
Had this problem in 17.2 but still occurring even now I've upgraded to 17.3.
Working on a Mac Mini macOS Monterey 12.5.1If I make any changes within a text block (weight, style or actual font) the selected text will 'glitch' and does not refresh properly when I'm choosing a font or different weight of the same font, causing issues with visibility and layout. It only corrects itself when I click off the text block, either onto the dashboard or another section of the design. This isn't ideal when I'm making design decisions as it impairs layout and aesthetics.

Can't create snap to baseline style
I just paid for and downloaded ID 17.2.1 after using cs6 and need to meet a deadline for a four page newsletter. I can't seem to find any buttons whatsoever that allow me to create a body style with the text snapping to the baseline. My text is all over the shop. Did I just do a faulty download, or am I missing something? Where is the option for baseline snapping or not snapping?
1 voteAlign to Baseline Grid option is available in the Paragraph panel.
It is also available in the Paragraph Style dialog under the Indents and Spacing section - Align to Grid.
Hope you find this useful.

resize document view
I am using Indesign 17.2. When I try to resize the art board by clicking on the bottom right corner, the whole thing automatically becomes larger than my screen so that I have no way to adjust it from there.
The uploaded image shows the bottom of my screen without any way to access the bottom of the document.

If a list has a span, footnotes will appear before the list, not at the bottom of the page.
I have many list paragraph styles, some of them formatted as spans. When I hit a footnote, it appears above the span, and can only be sent to the bottom of the page when the span is removed. This happened before and after the latest upgrade.

locked layers are invisible
I have an issue with locked layers: they are invisible in the layer-panel. I can only see them in the layout-view. I cannot edit, delete or unlock them. I can only make them invisible by disabling the "eye".
This happend to a file that was packed about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, even the IDML-File can't be edited. What's wrong?

alternate layouts
I want to prevent Indesign from adding alternate layouts to my file. I sometimes have to move pages from one document to another. I am using the page panel-move pages and then telling it the document I want the pages moved to. It adds an alternate layout. Is there a way to prevent this from automatically happening? It should be a feature that I turn on IF I WANT it. not one that I can't turn off.

step repeat
Maybe put horizontal before vertical in Step and Repeat.... Everybody knows that x comes before y in a 2D coordinate system. It's basic geometry. I can't be the only person who trips on this bug. FIX IT!

Align to grid
When you have a text box with multiple columns and paragraphs are set to align to grid + Align first line of text only, if text from one paragraph flows to the next column, that 'first' line of text will NOT align to the grid as it is not the first line in the paragraph. I can't think of any situation where this is an optimal outcome.

Scaling of objects in finest steps
I'm using ID Version 16.2.1 x64. After the upgrade I found that an essential feature is suddenly missing: when I try to fit in pictures in existing frames for example I could formerly scale the picture in very fine steps with the help of the little "arrows" left from the field with the displayed value.
These "arrows" are no longer there - but only in the field defining, scaling or rotating objects.
In the other fields defining paragraphs, font size and everything else the "arrows" are still there as shown in the PDF I'll be sending to you.
