Autoplay Media Workaround
My video is set to play on page load and repeat. This works well in Chrome on both desktop and mobile. However, the autoplay option is off by default in Safari. I would like to see some way to embed my video. In this case, I am only utilizing this as a background element to add dynamics. Allow me to add animation or allow me to embed MP4 that will autoplay on all devices. Pretty please?

More Control Over Embeds (Option to remove the publish online button from my embeds)
Dear Adobe.
It's time to stop acting like the "Tommy Hilfiger of Software" and allow users "Who Pay" for your software to remove your branding from final published pieces.
Who said this would be OK? Seriously, you don't see PPTX files trying this hard!
ALSO... Give users control of the embed framework. Maybe we don't NEED all the controls and labels on the bottom of published items and just need the published item.
Also... Give the user the option to change the background color.

Option to switch off nav bar
Can adobe give us the option, when publishing online, to switch off the Publish Online interface Nav Bar, so that when I embed using iFrame into Wordpress websites, I can pick up on the existing scheme without this bar interrupting the visual integrity

Nav bar in Publish Online interface
Can Adobe give designers control over the Nav Bar and not keep messing with the Publish Online interface. They've recently made the Nav Bar thicker, which has now messed up all the web apps I've sold to clients

Publish Online Nav Bar - can this be adjustable on upload via dialogue box?
Adobe have just made the Nav Bar fatter - this instantly trashes the web apps my company have created and sold to clients, because it obscures part of the lower menu. If Adobe wish to fiddle with this, can they not put the control of the Nav Bar in the hands of the creators that provide their solution, and not keep messing with it, as they did earlier in the year by sticking a margin all the way round the document page within the Publish Online interface

Rotate - it needs an 'oscillate' or 'reverse' tick box
Absolutely love the animation within Publish Online, really allows me to get client engagement. BUT.... it's missing something very vital - when you set a rotation, it only goes one-way. It needs to be able to reverse at the end of the rotation - so to rotate back to home position again. I strongly believe this would massively improve the animation options

6 simple updates to make 'Publish Online' better
An open request to Adobe to address at the following:
Customisable links, based off user profile and document title. The current lengthy lines of jumbled letters do not look professional when sending to clients.
Password protected links. Since we're forced to publish on Adobe's cloud, at least give the ability to encrypt the link so it can't be forwarded on. Extra feature here (like frame.io) would be to require the viewers email to view so the author can get data and verify who is viewing the document.
Make it possible to preview a gif loop while designing instead of the…

Expand PublishOnline Analytics (PART II)
Hello!
Would be possible to get the data of each document day by day instead of big figures? I mean, I would like to know how many people have read my document in the first 24 h after its publication, 2 days after, in the third day... and so on.
That´s very important (and urgent) for us in order to make decissions regarding contents.
Thank you very much in advance!1 vote -
If multiple users could update the same document and publish while updating the SAME LINK. Currently one user can update an existing link.

Add PDF Downloads to Publish Online Dashboard Analytics
It would be really useful if PDF downloads was a statistic added to the Analytics in the Publish Online dashboard.
Our company, as I am sure many others are, is strattling the line trying to figure out what documents are still necessary to print and what documents can exist solely as digital documents, and it would be really helpful to know how many people are still going out there and downloading a copy. This would require some inference on our end, but we could then determine how many people want their own copy of a document and how many are…

Fix "Analytics" on Publish Online
The company I work for creates ebooks and then updates it by request of the clients. The links can't be changed as people use them in their communication so we have to update the ebooks instead of uploading new ones. By doing this we're unfortunately resetting all the analytics for the ebook. Trying to get the analytics with a delay of "approximately 90 minutes" is a joke in itself. So if I need to update a document I can't wait 90 minutes to eventually see the analytics and then save them somewhere. I suggest fixing this and turning it into…

Pubblicazione online anche per libro
Sarebbe interessante poter pubblicare online anche da libro e non solo da file. Grazie

Allow analytics to track the number of times a viewer downloaded the document.
PublishOnline has been great and very informative. It would help me even more to know how many times a viewer has been interested enough in a document to download a copy. (Even better if I knew how many times they chose to print the document.)

Scoping of publish online feature
As an admin in a sensible industry, we want to provide our communication/marketing area the possiblity to PublishOnline with Indesign, but NOT to the rest of the users
As of today, and confirmed by Adobe support, this cannot be achieved, we cannot scope nor tweak or limit this feature to a specific set of users

Capacity to ignore external plug-in
Hi all.
I have a work made in Aquafadas (now Rakuten). The plug-in for digital publishing will not be developer again because the brand wil close the business. So, I switch the plug-in to another one (InPublishing) and everything goes fine on 2020. But with InDesign 2021 it seems to be impossible to work. InDesign 2021 made a ceck on files and it seems impossibile to add a file made with a plug-in that is not installed on a Book.
That's very stupid, because It seems that I cannot work with 2021 because the original plug-in is not installed. BTW…1 vote -
Keep saved video attributes when opening packaged file and relinking media
I am working on documents that are published online, with video and sound features. If a file is packaged and sent to other members of a team, upon opening the Indesign file, you are required to relink all media in the Links folder. However, some features are then lost, like the Poster frame settings for Video files (set in the Media panel).
It would also be useful to be able to have the option to have sound on or off when publishing online, without having to do this in another application.1 vote -
Option to lock downloading videos from online published documents
When you use the option PublishOnline, it is possible for other users to download videos from your online published document by rightclicking on the three dots an choose 'save video'. But that's not the way designers van to have their work exposed for downloading.
I think it'll be a good idea to have the option to lock downloading videos from your online published documents.
Can you help me solving this issue, pleas?
