Delete swatch / replace swatchPlease display the swatch that will be deleted on the 'Delete Swatch' dialog box to prevent replacing or deleting the wrong swatch (which is too easily done at the moment). Thanks 8 votes

Add an x to close out a color theme box easily like other panelsMake it easier to close out the color theme box after using the color theme eye dropper tool. Currently, you have to reselect the color theme tool in the toolbar and press esc, which is not at all obvious, simple, or easy to remember. 1 vote

swatches, color, and gradient panels like illustratorIllustrator has the easiest to use and most powerful swatches, color, and gradient panels. Indesign would be a much better experience if it just used them. Just make them exactly the same. 18 votes

Benefits of CBD oilThere are many other medical conditions that are aided by CBD and they include epilepsy, LGA, Dravet syndrome, seizures and so on. More research is being conducted on the effects of CBD in the human body and the results are quite promising. The possibility of combating cancer and different anxiety disorders is also being looked at. https://cbdlabscorp.com/products/buy-cbd-oil-for-stress-and-pain/ 1 vote

Map Process Colors to Spot in Ink ManagerAllow mapping/alias of process colors CMYK to Spot in Ink Manager. This can be done downstream during the output process, but I would like the ability to preview the change to verify what I will get. Thanks! 2 votes

apply swatch to monotone/greyscale with transparency (psd, png, tiff,ai).Apply swatch to linked object only currently works with flattened greyscale psd, jpg or tiff. Often I need to change greyscale images WITH TRANSPARENCY (vector and raster) to match colors from other photos in indd. Currently I have to open psd and created several hue adjustment layers, or layers in ai with the color changes, and going back to each as I modify color in the pallette. 7 votes

Larger Colour Swatch Window and Colour Creation ToolsWhen creating or changing a colour in the swatch window the square that shows the colour is tiny and the dragging tools be it in RGB or CMYK are the only way to choose a colour. I feel like more options could easily be availble here in terms of how to pick a colour, like a large "rainbow" grid to drag the mouse around to select exactly what you want. The current system, larger with more fidelity would be incredible! 1 vote

Save gradient swatch angles to object styleIt would be nice to be able to save angles that you draw with the gradient swatch tool to the object style. I find it strange that we can save gradient feathers at any angle, but not gradient swatch tool angles. 13 votes

Properties panel: make “Apply to Text” the default for text framesWhen I select a text frame, I find that most of the time I want to change the colour of the text, not the frame. But InDesign defaults to “Apply to Frame“ every single time, which is particularly cumbersome in the properties panel, where the option is now a menu. I believe it would be much more useful to have the default either be "Apply to Text“ whenever you choose a text frame or at least remember your preference. (I am aware that you can double click to select the text, then select all, then the properties panel applies the… 2 votes

color picker isn't consistent with other software. Please allow users to change color picker to Photoshop color picker. Indesign is great except for the nuisance of having a horrible UI for the color picker. I make all my colors in photoshop copy the code then paste it into Indesign. 89 votesHello All,
Starting Id 16.0 we introduced HSB in Color Picker.
Does that resolve inconsistency issue for you? Please tell us in the comments. Regards,

Paste Text Only from Other InDesign DocumentsWe regularly copy and paste from other InDesign documents. It is really frustrating that every time we do this the incoming swatches and styles are also pasted into the document, resulting in extensive lists of swatches and styles with similar names. Much like the "Preferences - Clipboard Handling - When Pasting Text and Tables from Other Applications - Text Only" option, it would be incredibly useful to offer this feature for "Other InDesign Documents" as well. 3 votes

Option to merge swatches when importing from another documentWhen Importing Swatches from another document produce a dialog similar to when importing Text Styles. I should be able to choose which ones i want to import and be able to decide what to do if there are swatches of the same name. In some cases i would like it to overwrite the swatch on the active document with the swatch that exists on the imported documents swatches. 4 votes

[ID-4258038] Change the Eyedropper Tool back to default on the tool bar instead of the Color Theme Tool. The standard Eyedropper Tool used to be the default option on the Tool bar. This was convenient for sampling colors as well as text styles. Now, there is no way to change the default from the Color Theme Tool to the Eyedropper. The Color Theme Tool has its place in Illustrator, but as InDesign is mostly used for text, it is crucial that the Eyedropper Tool is quickly accessible. In my career, I have barely used the Color Theme Tool in InDesign, whereas I use the Eyedropper daily. It is frustrating for my coworkers and I to now change it… 108 votesThe change is available in the latest InDesign Release version ID20.2. Please update your InDesign to this latest version to see the change. -- Adobe InDesign team

Easily Swap Color ThemesI often utilize the same template layouts across multiple brands and it would be a huge time-saver to be able to assign swatches from a color theme to the various objects, and have all the respective objects update when a new color theme is selected. So if I have Color 1, Color 2, Color 3, and then select a new color theme, the design could be updated as Color 1 -> Color 4, Color 2 -> Color 5, and so on. 6 votes

Opening items such as swatches in the columns when hovering the mouse over themCurrently I do not know of a way to enable it so that anything you hover the mouse over automatically opens without you having to click on it, i.e the swatches/ colour tabs when in a column. Please let me know if there is otherwise this would be a nice feature. 2 votes
