Navigation Points have been re-introduced in the Media panel. This feature is available in the latest release of InDesign (version 16.0). Please use this release to use Navigation Points for Video/Audio files.
However, the Controller options will not be available. As communicated earlier, all options (Controller options being one of them) related to Flash/Flash player have been removed from InDesign as Flash Player is now being EOL’d (End of Life).

The issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign – InDesign 2021.
Please update to this new version of InDesign to get the fix.—
Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Geoff commentedMy client will sometimes use the note tool to write an instruction to me and include a long chunk of text to add to the ID file. If their note is so long that it requires me to SCROLL through the PDF Comments list, ID doesn't permit me to scroll and select all the text in the note. It will only let me select and copy what is visible in the window.
My workaround on notes is to open up the PDF in Acrobat and copy them over to ID from there.... the old way.

If I add video to my client's Interactive PDF catalog using ID 2020, their customers can play the video by clicking on it, but they don't have any controllers to stop the video, or jump ahead, or replay a segment. What's the point then? Adobe, please put the navigation points back in to the Media menu.
