You've got to be kidding, only found out today this is not working where a client has added paragraphs of text to a large book and I can't copy/paste. This needs to be fixed pronto. Paying big money for software with basic bug such as this.

After spending hours trying to work out why InDesign would hang when trying to export to reflowable ePub I found this post and it is a bug! Using InDesign 17.4 (latest version in September 2022) I can't believe THIS STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED two years after initial report!!!

• Is(Are) the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If yes, could you provide the document(s)/asset(s) to us? Please package the entire document (To package the document, choose File → Package…)Workaround: Restart InDesign

I have been plagued by this problem for months. I am using version 16.2. Sometimes it's just some paragraphs missing between views, but today a whole page of text was missing, so I decided to take screen shots of the the two views. This is not document specific, it has been happening on many documents. To fix I either have to add some text to the story, then delete it or restart InDesign.

I find the whole Share for Review very clunky, even in 2024. Updating comments such as "Delete this text" puts the comment into Unmapped comments, as obviously there is no text to map to. Keith comments are very helpful.
