    Same here. Either let the user disable the search feature or don't liste "All paragraphs" because there can be 1000s. While working on this please finally add a feature to sort the listed items alphabetically, especially when it's numbered headlines.

    ...or invest in some backup solution with CD, DVD, Blu-ray, harddrive, NAS or whatever type of storage. Indesign is not responsible for your data loss. It has a reliable feature to restore documents after a crash, that suffices.

    Ok, but this is not the "post your bugs" forum. You are probably unheard.
    Possible solution: save the file as 2019 version and then open again.

    This is a feature request forum, not one for posting bugs.
    About your problem: the TIFF may either not be compatible or you must place it with import options or you have to activate transparency for the placed object.

    How do you have such? I've never seen Indesign or any other Adobe tool giving me tips or nagging me.

    You could use conditional text to switch different names on and off instead of replacing them.

    Alternative: change the text frame's size by dragging with the mouse while holding Ctrl key. This will scale the text to the text frame.

    Well, that's the advancement of technology. On a 64 bit system, Indesign uses approx. 580 MB of RAM just after the start, with no document open.

    Hello All,

    Thank you for your patience all this while.
    This issue is now fixed in the latest update (Id 14.0.1) of InDesign CC.
    If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.

    Once the update button is shown against InDesign CC, click on the button to update your InDesign to Id 14.0.1 for the fix of the issue.
    Do let us know in the comments, if you face any problem with the new update.

    Who would want to use that? That's why numbers were created. To not have to write long words all the time.
    Reading numbers from 20 written in letters is practically a twist for your brain. Supposing your documents won't have many pages, you could place them manually.

    I have already posted a similar request long ago. "PDF export profiles" which are superior to those which define the PDF itself. Superior in letting us define a constructed file name, like when using the batch processor in Photoshop for file names, so we could export multiple differently named PDFs with web or print resolution from within one INDD file with just a few clicks.

    I use to do that with F11 and F12 keys (coming from old Pagemaker) which are mapped to PREVIOUS SHEET and NEXT SHEET.

    The request for the search field was not from me, but is actually a good idea. If there are many headlines in a document it's often hard to scroll the list in this tiny window, even you can narrow down the list to a specific style.
