    Just tested with InDesign 2021 version 16.3.0.24 on Windows 10.

    that's still true with InDesign 2020 version 15.0.0.155.

    It's not the Properties panel you refer to. It's the Control panel.
    And this has nothing to do with InDesign Server.
    Server has no GUI.

    FWIW: All default workspaces should have the Control panel enabled in InDesign Desktop.
    Currently, InDesign 2021, the Control panel is disabled with [Essential] and [Review] workspaces.

    The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2022(v17.0.0.96). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

    Hi together,
    I recreated that bug with InDesign 2020 version 15.0.3.425 on my German Windows 10.
    InDesign will crash in the moment I try to apply "align to baseline" in step 7 if the text frame is already anchored:

    [1] Create an new document.
    [2] Create an new text frame ( text frame A ).
    [3] Create a second textframe ( text frame B ).
    [4] Insert some text in text frame B.
    [5] Set auto-size of text frame B to height only ( pinned top position ).
    [6] Anchor text frame B to text frame B's text.

    [7] Select the text in the anchored text frame B and apply the option "align to baseline".

    Crash.

    I can confirm the issue.
    Also with an export to PDF/X-4 without using the option "Create Tagged PDF".
    See the screenshot attached where I re-colored the original text to Magenta and placed the exported PDF/X-4 on top of the editable text. Zoom is at 1,000 %.

    Hi Marc and others,
    the issue is fixed with e.g. InDesign 2021 version 16.2.0.27 that I tested today.
    Rolling out of 16.2.0.30 already began. By the end of this week everybody should see the update.
