The tool is available in the top panel. But it sounds like your monitor is too small for it. I'm on a 27" and it's comfortably there. The size allows the character and the paragraph tools to be completely in the top panel. Think about buying a bigger monitor – in my eyes it's worth every cent!

Thanks for this hint, Bob, the script is fine, but when I first read this feature request, I saw circled or diagonal or rectangled guides in InDesign made out of a drawing.

I do not follow you in your argumentation, but as a professional producer second your request. In my eyes there should be _the choice_ what's being exported: neat and clean code for a pro OR – let's call it – highly supportive code for the »I don't care a dime« user.
