InDesign CC 2019 No search results when trying to place a file
When I try to place a file in InDesign CC 2019 (or ANY CC 2019 app) and I enter text in the search box to find my file it defaults to "my Mac" instead of the folder I want it to search. Then when I select the folder I want to search it yields no results even though I KNOW there is a file there containing that word in the name. The folder I want it to search is on a remote server. Keyboard shortcuts don't work if only one file is open.
When I have just one file open in Indesign, the keyboard shortcuts don't work. Open another file, they start working again. Or, wait long enough, then they start working with just one file open. All keyboard shortcuts, not just some.

Snapping objects is funky
When moving or scaling objects and aligning (snapping) them to guides or objects, they don't snap to the guides or objects exactly. I regularly

Wacom tablet settings nonfunctional
Wacom tablet setting for InDesign CC 2019 won't show or function in the active application. The touch ring and radial menu setting do not show up. The default settings appear instead. The screen grabs demonstrate how the touch ring behaves with the four default functions; autoscroll/Zoom, Cycle Layers, Brush Size and Canvas Rotation.

Use of CC Library Items - EPS files Export as grey boxes and are not properly linked and do not package properly
When using CC Libraries logos, those logos being used are EPS files.
Those files will export and be grey boxes as if a broken link.
Try and access said file in the CC library and sometimes work and doesnt.Also these are not collected for output and saved as EPS files when packaging.
We need to make sure the files are pulled from the CC library and included in the Package. THis would help when we send files to outside companies so they can utilize original content that has been created and put into CC Libraries.

I´ve updated everything, and still its superslow.I work on a lot of large documents and some of them I can't even open up. It just crashes or takes for ever to get something done!! Frustrating!!

Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl+Shft+G (Ungroup) acts strange
In Windows 10, Indesign 14.0:
Ungrouping with keyboard shortcut only works when I:
hold Ctrl+LeftShift,
then touch RightShift (while holding Ctrl+LeftShift) (????)
press G (while still holding Ctrl+LeftShift)

properties panel is lagging
I like the new properties panel, but it seems to be a little bit laggy.
If the properties panel ist active, and I’m clicking on a text frame or image eg. it is lagging a little bit. If the panel is close, there is no issue.3 votes -

File Info (description) on placed photographs in indesign CC 14 is unable to be copied to clipboard when selected.
File Info (description) on placed photographs in indesign CC 14 is unable to be copied to clipboard when selected. This means we are unable to caption images using metadata in our newsroom workflow. Is anyone else having this issue.

AIGPUSNIFFER NOT WORKING CC2018 MOJAVE 10.14
Io lavoro con un iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) , macoli Mojave 10.14, 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096MB, e quando apro INDESIGN CC2018 mi appare sempre AIGPUSNIFFER che non funziona.

When working with Indesign CC2018 and still in CC2019 on Mac. I can't use the Toolbox/bar on my second monitor connected to my MacBook. When the Toolbox is placed/locked on to the left hand side of the screen, the submenus of all tools (Type, Pen, Pencil etc.) don't open on my secondary monitor, but semi randomly are placed on the display of my MacBook. the only way to "fix" this is to place the Toolbox on the MacBook's display, but that's not the way to go about it...

US Dictionary continues to use UK spellings
My Indesign Dictionary is set to English: USA, but it still regularly corrects to UK spellings i.e. enrol vs. enroll. I am running Indesign 13.1. Can this be fixed?
3 votesThe Dictionary section in Preferences dialog shows the Dictionary that is in use for a particular Language. The path (which looks like /Linguistics/UserDictionaries/Adobe Custom Dictionary/…) shown in the dialog is the location of the dictionary that is being used. You can add your own custom User Dictionary by clicking on the + button.
The Language used for Spell check is NOT the one chosen in the Preferences dialog.To specify the default Language used for Spell check for all documents, you should close all documents and select the Type Tool. The Control panel (when Character Formatting Controls – ‘A’ button is selected at the left) shows the Default Language set for all documents. This is the language used for Spell Check. You can also open the Paragraph Styles panel, double-click on the [Basic Paragraph] style and under Advanced Character Formats section, change the Language.

Fullscreen Application Frame Under Menu Bar
When opening the program, occasionally the top bar of the interface is under the menu bar. Being as that also contains the portion of the interface used for moving the whole window, I must change my System Settings to hide the menu bar to move it back down. This also happens in a couple other CC programs as well.

InDesign CC 2018 UK dictionary is wrong
The UK dictionary in InDesign CC 2018 is wrong. It is recognizing both American and British spellings of certain words as correct. The biggest issues I've found so far are "iz" versus "is" spellings (e.g. capitalize/capitalise) and words that need an extra "e" (e.g. ageing). I have all text boxes in my document set to UK English, and spellcheck is finding certain misspellings (e.g. "or" versus "our"), but not others.
This is a major problem for those of us who regularly have to "translate" text from American English to UK English. Is there a way to import a better UK…

I am editing a long document (over 300 pages). Several non-consecutive spreads are displaying blank. When I change screen mode from normal to preview, it displays the content correctly. The same happens if I change Display Performance prom Typical to either Fast display or High Quality Display.
Also selecting all the text (ctrl+A) takes more than 5 seconds. The same operation in MS Word is instant.3 votes -
Cursor vanishes when over frames
My cursor is vanishing in InDesign when I move it over a frame (or object inside a frame). It is almost like it is underneath or behind the frame/object.

App is OK after restart. Once working on the document for 10 min the navigation around the document and any command request, ie duplicate a image slows down and becomes sluggish until app is restarted once more.
