Indesign duplicates when I click and drag on anything, and it won't stop
Whenever I hold click and drag something Indesign creates a copy. It's almost like the Alt button is held down but it's not. I've removed the keyboard and it still does it. I've updated the software and it still happens. I've tried multiple restarts but no luck. I even uninstalled and ran an install but still no fix. Does anyone know why this is happening? It's not happening on any other Adobe software, just Indesign. I'm working on the latest version.

how about a new idea on policy: Don't leave developers to hang out to dry when the Developer has a ligitiment gripe about the Indesign SDK
I AM not happy here, pleas give me something to try at least the bloody BOOST in the indesign 2019 b130 SDK does not compile with any plugin on Win10 sv2017
To be specific it has to do with std::unaryfunction and std::Binaryfunction primarily which was taken out of the std:: library for c++11 and to conform with the current standard. I cannot figure out how to get around this error among many others. At least tell me what you want to help me help you help me. Come' on1 vote -
how about an Indesign 2019 SDK version that has examples that build w/o error in Windows 10 using vs2017
I don't know if I am using the correct SDK for Windows how can I get the correct SDK, I know it is not an idea but a request for information, the idea is publish correct information for plugin developers on how to build plugins on the Win10 platform using VS2017 which if I am not mistaken is listed in the requirements

Open Type unavailable
I have the most recent upgrade to CC InDesign. A new problem just came up. Properties panel shows no problems but open type properties are not available msg appears on all newly input type, which displays at 1/10 size. I did a re-install, but it did not change. This has halted my work!

how about a recipe for porting InDesign CC 2018 plugins to InDesign CC 2019 running Win10
Well, I can't seem to get my plugin to build w/o errors in the adobe boost library, would like explicit recipe to setup vs 2017 environment to build w/o errors.

.ai imported file bounding box turns solid black when printed. The previous version of ID left me choose "the printer determines colors" under Color Handling. After the recent upgrade that selection is no longer available.

Assignments checked out from two PCs simultaneously
I updated my CC to 2019, but the designer hasn't. She's still using 2018.
I had checked out some assignments from a indd file in the intra server and checked all in when I was done.
Before notifying my designer she came and asked, "how were you able to work o the assignments when I was working on them?"
She was working on the same indd file, from InDesign, with all assignments checked out.
And yet, when I checked all in, she got "update" signs next to the assignments. And weirdly, when she updated them all, they updated fine with…1 vote -

I have installed 2019CC and for some reason I keep having these panels come up. I now have 3!

Lose tabs when converting to curves in document since new update
I have noticed since I updated to the newest 20.0 version yesterday that every job that I have used set up tabs in and then convert to curves to go to print production (avoids any font reflow issues when processing film) the tabs do not hold. This has never been an issue before this update. Please fix this bug.

Imported PDF not previewing in high quality
When placing exported PDFs from Adobe XD, High Quality Display previews don't show properly when GPU Performance is selected. You must turn off GPU performance or select Typical Display.
MacOS 10.12.6 mid 2015 MacBook Pro.

InDesign
InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (most recent versions) are no longer recognizing activated fonts that they recognized 10 days ago. No updates were made to any software. This is EXTREMELY problematic since I can't continue working on numerous projects that use these fonts. This must be fixed immediately. Have tried rebooting, re-installing fonts, etc. NOTHING is working.

Cannot mirror a footer
I am taking an InDesign class and in one of the steps in the book it says, Use the selection tool, select the footer, hold down the Alt key, and drag the text frame to the right master page so that it snaps to the guides, mirroring the left master page.
I have NO finger dexterity so cannot hold down multiple buttons is there a way to do the above without holding down the keys?

InDesign suddenly has problems selecting the most basic things
For about the past two weeks, I've been experiencing a frustrating problem on two Mac installations of InDesign 13.1. When an object is selected and I click on a color swatch to change its color, about 30% of the time it will not take effect. If I have multiple objects selected and I click on one of those objects again, instead of assigning that object as the key object like it should, the entire group of objects moves slightly to the left. index alphabetizing with multiple words
When there an index entry has more than one word, the space between the words is improperly accounted for resulting in misalphabetized entries. See screenshots.

when I put the mouse in Archive and try to go to new, the system go to help. so to cant creat a new document or insert a image, except using the keyboard
