1. Missing fonts, spell checking not working with InDesign 2020 build 15.0.2

   There are two bugs with InDesign 2020, build 15.0.2, which make it unusable for me. I have reverted to build 15.0, and the two bugs are not in that build.

   Bug 1 is that often when I export pages as a pdf, or I package the document, the fonts I am using in the document become missing afterward. I need to quit InDesign in order to have InDesign find those fonts again.

   Bug 2 is that spell checking no longer works. The spell checking window comes up, but it never catches any misspellings.

   Reverting InDesign to build 15.0 takes care of those bugs. I'm not sure what the problem is with build 12.0.2, but it is unusable.

   I am running Mac OS Catalina 10.15.3 on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) with 16 GB of ram.

2. CC library icons (svg files) not copying over correctly

   Version: inDesign 2020

   When I drag, copy over, or place a linked icon (svg/eps) file from our corporate CC library, it only displays a white box.

   I have asked a couple of coworkers to try the same thing and they don't have any issues.

3. Ligatures cause ADA compliance issues! Let's have a preference option to turn them all off, globally.

   Please, please add a global Preference in the Advanced Type window to TURN OFF ALL LIGATURES. These are problematic to ADA requirements. This would be just an additional global preference that we could set when we have no InDesign documents open, so that any new documents (after we turn off the ligatures in the preference area) would not have ligatures.

4. 0 on numeric keypad not working like it should.

   0 on numeric keypad not working like it should. the 0 button above letter keys works properly and so do the numbers 1-9 on the numeric keypad on the right works just fine. I tested the "0" button on other applications and browser to make sure the button physically works and it does. I even tested in adobe Illustrator,

5. not displaying all fonts

   I install fonts from various sources and with various methods and INDD never shows all the fonts in the family. I just installed all 18 fonts from Montserrat through the Typekit site and INDD display 14 installed fonts. Same thing using Extensis Suitcase. I can activate 10 fonts and only 6 will display. Where are the rest of my weights?????

6. Preflight and color white problem

   In the screen I am attaching an example of wrong preflight which creates many problems and slows down the work.
   This malfunction was also present in previous versions of InDesign.
   In the attached example, is used only one Pantone color and when I do preflight, it indicates 93 color as error.
   So I have to check however all errors and lose a lot of time but the reported errors refer to the present white color

8. Save as... drop-/pulldown menu not working

   Dropdown menu for saving as IDML file is not working. I have this problem for some (2-3?) years now. I have waited in hope it would be solved in a coming update, but after all those years it is still not solved. Therefore this bug entry.

   I tried resetting the preferences (Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift) but this does not change anything and the problem remains.

   Indesign version 15.0.1 on a late 2015 iMac

9. Adding items to the CC Library

   I've noticed when adding items to the CC Library that chasing squares icon doesn't stop, giving the impression that the addition has not finished. Quitting and restarting InDesign seems to settle it.

11. JavaScript not work When mounting /Volumes/users

    MacOS 環境で /Volumes/users が存在すると(サーバーに users でマウントすると）ユーザーが作成した javascript (.jsx ファイル）が動作しなくなります

    /Users/(UserName)/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 15.0-J/ja_JP/Scripts/Scripts Panel/(ScriptName).jsx

    が /Volumes/users フォルダにマウントしていないと正常動作するのですが /Volumes/users フォルダが存在しているとエラーのビープ音がなって何も行われないです

    /Volumes/users フォルダにマウントしていると Macintosgh HD の /Users フォルダが /Volumes/Users フォルダと見なされているようです

13. InDesign won't find fonts in file package if the file is in a Dropbox folder

    Version: InDesign 14.0.3 macOS Catalina
    Steps: 1. Package a file and include fonts
    2. Move the package anywhere in the local Dropbox folder
    3. Make sure fonts are not locally activated/present
    4. Open file
    Expected result: InDesign opens fonts in the "Document fonts" folder
    Actual result: InDesign reports fonts as missing
    [Same package moved to Desktop, everything works fine]

14. Reaching InDesign’s limits when importing XML

    Late 2013 Mac Pro (3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, 16 GB 1866 MHz DDR3, AMD FirePro D500 3072MB, Mojave 10.14.2)

    2017 iMac Pro (2.3 GHz Intel Xeon W, 64GB 266 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro Vega 64 16GB, Mojave 10.14.4)

    InDesign CC 2019

    Steps to reproduce the issues:
    - Create XML file (8k lines) to import copy into InDesign with tags and linking to 700+ images (343x343px, CMYK jpegs)
    - Create 74pp InDesign template 12 text boxes per page, content flowing, with 50+ paragraph and character styles
    - Expected result: Text and images flowing through text boxes, allowing editing and tidying up.
    - Actual result: After getting through some pages the software is slows down, beach-balling, the screen goes blue. 50 pages seems to be the maximum it can handle.
    - BUG: Even with very powerful Macs with massive processors, graphic cards etc. Producing a book (400+ pages) the XML and the inDesign document needs to be split in files 50pp or less.

    I can’t upload samples as files are confidential (annual international publication) and there’s too many. Happy discuss in private and transfer some packaged inDesign files and xml to private and secure location.

    Spell Check in Indesign is defaulting to checking the entire document. I need it to check the story. Or, at the very least, allow me the option of telling it to default to checking the current story.

17. Pages Panel shows scroll bar starting at wrong page

    This only happens on startup of InDesign.

    I open a document that has many pages from 2 -120.

    The Pages panel has the scroll bars positioned at the top, next to pages 26-27.

    If the scroll bars are at the top of the document, then pages 2-3 should be showing.

18. Stop showing the "Setup Libraries Your Way" EVERY TIME I open creative cloud library

    This thing is beyond annoying. Yes it was helpful the first time I saw it. But once I clicked it off once, I never needed to see it again. But this little f***er shows up every time I open the CC libraries after a restart. GIVE ME A DON"T SHOW AGAIN..... Please.

19. CC library desconfigured after dragging in a table

    Hi there,
    I dragged a table from one page to the cc library panel and it turned black with code characters in colors. I lost all the libraries... can not find them anymore, not even delete this code or replace. Nothing. Please help

20. InDesign to InCopy Layout Malfunction

    My company's graphics department develops scientific posters, and as a writer, I often have to make small adjustments to the text and am only given access to edit through InCopy (using version 14.0.2). This problem does not happen with every poster, but I often find that the whole frame of the poster is shifted when I open the assignments file in InCopy (please see example photos). I'm able to make my edits, but I can't export to a PDF without having the bleed, header, etc. shifted as I see it in InCopy. Our graphics department thinks this is a bug in my software. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success. Any help please???
