Step and repeat Bug
Step and repeat is not working correctly.
If you have an object, whilst holding option, drag the object to a new position and release, the object is duplicated. This works correctly. If i then select Duplicate from the Edit menu, it should repeat the the last duplication. It does not! It uses the last step and repeat measurement. This is a bug.
This is using indesign 2019.
The bug is not in indesign 2018, it works correctly here

Canvas does not update
On opening a document, the area where the page/canvas would display is transparent (desktop is visible behind). Moving the view causes the canvas appear. When editing the document, the cursor does not appear and text does not appear highlighted until the view is moved. Objects do not display correctly after being moved - sometimes this is fixed by moving the view, sometimes not.
This is InDesign CC 14.0 on a MacBook Pro 13" 2017 model with MacOS Mojave.

InDesign 14.0 x 64 Margin won't change since software update
When I try to increase or decrease margins, nothing happens. It used to work great until my last software update.

Activating a font or fonts while InDesign CC2018 is running results in frustrating beachballs until you restart InDesign. Also do not open your pages panel because it will cost you 5 min. of your life untli ID responds again.

Move Page bug, can't select Start or End
When attempting to move a page to either Start or End of document, I select those options, but it continually reverts back to Before or After page. InDesignCC.

Copy/paste creates <unknown> objects
InDesign CC 13.1
When copying text frames from Illustrator to InDesign, type gets outlined, which is fine. For some reason, it is not recognized by InDesign as a compound path, but rather as a group of <unknown> objects. Having many of those in a document slows down InDesign greatly.
A fix is more than welcome. Thanks.

Modal disappearing, causing deadlock
Sometimes the Options-Window I have to frequently use to change the baseline-grid (sic!) disappears miraculously thus disabling any input (thankfully I hit save regularly).

alt/spacebar navigation
WTF has happened to the alt/spacebar shortcut for navigating pages with the T tool? It's suddenly become much more sensitive to release timing, so if my finger comes off the alt button a split-second early I end up with rogue spaces in text. Never used to be a problem.
InDesign CC 2017.1, 12.1.0.56 Build.

The Application frame need many clicks before it wants to move.
I have to click about 5-10-20 times on the Application Frame of InDesign CC 2018 to make it move. I tried to click on different places and it still the same problem. Sometimes it works on the first clic, but more often i have to click many times. I'm on Mac OS 10.11.6, InDesign 13.1. I had the problem on the trial version, i called Adobe Technical service, and they told me to update when my licence will be activated... but it is now, i'm on the last version, and i still have the same problem.

Preferences Reset after working with a large XML based file
I work with large XML files to create catalogs several times a month. This results in InDesign giving me a lot of "Continue without Undo" prompts anytime I do any action (even scrolling and zooming), so I save the file and quit InDesign. Upon reopening InDesign, it says that it cannot read my preference file and resets everything.
This is extremely frustrating, as while my workspace is saved, all of the character/paragraph/object styles, swatches, and program settings are completely wiped, as are all the tool tips and notifications. Barring being able to not have this problem occur regularly, is there…

• Delete InDesign preferences
• Copy the InDesign corrupt preferences.
• Launch InDesign.
• An alert would come that the preference have been reset.If the above workflow works with the copied preference, Zip them and mail it to santalwa@adobe.com.

Not find unicode Greek when pasted into Find
When I copy a Greek word (that is entered in unicode) from an InDesign document and paste it into the Find field, InDesign cannot find the word in that document. If I type the Greek word into the Find field, then it does find the word. So there is a defect in the pasting mechanism for the Find function.

Opened files become modified (unsaved asterisk appears) without any modification
I'm working with file A, but I keep open the B and C files (either I didn't close those or I'm copying content from those), after some time B and C becomes modified (unsaved, the asterisk after the name appears). The Edit→Undo does not show any alteration (it's grayed).
May it be the problem that A, B and C belongs to a Book?

Dragging guides from ruler restricts placement to only to three decimal points
When dragging a guide from the rulers, ID only allows placement to three decimal points. Most often I find the need for the full four decimal points -- like trying to match the baseline of a line of type. So I have to drop the guide imprecisely, then adjust using the control panel. Can you please fix this?

The Recent file view does not support files in apple iCloud (Optimize Mac Storage)
I am unable to open files that are automatically moved to iCloud using the Optimise Mac Storage default feature. I have to manually reload them to the local computer and then restart Indesign. Adobe CC - 2018 Indesign 13.1
It seems really lame that Adobe doesn't keep up with Mac OS developments. Every designer that I know who uses Adobe CC has a Mac. Every time Apple changes something it takes Adobe a year to catch up. This really hurts my workflow and leaves me with a poor opinion of Adobe.

InDesign application does not render correctly upon program launch in Windows 10
When launching InDesign in Windows 10, the window renders with missing icons, input boxes (eg: coordinates and size boxes) and backgrounds. When a new document is opened and it launches, random graphics from the document also are displayed.
Please see attached image for example. I am able to reproduce. Each time, the window must be moved or hovered over by mouse to fix.
This has been going on since upgrading from CS6 to CC from CC 2017 to CC 2018 (current) in Windows 10. Please let me know if you require details of my hardware or software specifications.

Open Recent numbering goes from 1 to 9, then 0 and then repeats 1 to 9, 0.
When selecting File > Open Recent, and there are more than 9 items (I have it set to 20), the items are listed numerically from 1 to 9 and then 0. Then it repeats 1-9, 0. One would expect 1-9, 10, 11, 12, 13, etc.
Obviously not a showstopper, but just something to fix.
