1. Use of CC Library Items - EPS files Export as grey boxes and are not properly linked and do not package properly

   When using CC Libraries logos, those logos being used are EPS files.
   Those files will export and be grey boxes as if a broken link.
   Try and access said file in the CC library and sometimes work and doesnt.

   Also these are not collected for output and saved as EPS files when packaging.

   We need to make sure the files are pulled from the CC library and included in the Package. THis would help when we send files to outside companies so they can utilize original content that has been created and put into CC Libraries.

2. Working in InDesign 14.01 on an imac Retina 5K, 4 GHz intel core i7. MacOS Mojave versjon 10.14.1.

   In Design is so super slow for me.
   I´ve updated everything, and still its superslow.

   I work on a lot of large documents and some of them I can't even open up. It just crashes or takes for ever to get something done!! Frustrating!!

3. Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl+Shft+G (Ungroup) acts strange

   In Windows 10, Indesign 14.0:

   Ungrouping with keyboard shortcut only works when I:

   1. hold Ctrl+LeftShift,

   2. then touch RightShift (while holding Ctrl+LeftShift) (????)

   3. press G (while still holding Ctrl+LeftShift)

4. properties panel is lagging

   I like the new properties panel, but it seems to be a little bit laggy.
   If the properties panel ist active, and I’m clicking on a text frame or image eg. it is lagging a little bit. If the panel is close, there is no issue.

5. InDesign 2019 scrubby zoom no longer works (command + space + click)

   Prior to InDesign 2019, you can press command + spacebar + click to be able to activate the scrubby zoom feature.

   Now when you press command + spacebar + click you just draw a box that once you unclick, it zooms to that space... Very undesirable..

   Did a preference change on the update somewhere that I don't know about? Because I can not find this feature in the Preferences now.

   Please advise.

   The feature you are talking about is called ‘Animated Zoom’ (it’s Mac only feature).
   It is turned ON by default on Mac machines having a GPU card with a compatible monitor attached.
   Check the Document Name in its tab – does it say ‘GPU Preview’? If not, press Shift+E to switch to this mode.
   Also, check under Preferences > GPU Performance and see if ‘Animated Zoom’ is checked ON. It should be enabled for this feature to work.

8. AIGPUSNIFFER NOT WORKING CC2018 MOJAVE 10.14

   When working with Indesign CC2018 and still in CC2019 on Mac. I can't use the Toolbox/bar on my second monitor connected to my MacBook. When the Toolbox is placed/locked on to the left hand side of the screen, the submenus of all tools (Type, Pen, Pencil etc.) don't open on my secondary monitor, but semi randomly are placed on the display of my MacBook. the only way to "fix" this is to place the Toolbox on the MacBook's display, but that's not the way to go about it...
   It has something to do with different resolutions of the two screens, the tool submenus (if the toolbox is docked to the left side of my monitor) get placed outside of the viewable area of the MacBook display. if I place the Toolbox in the middle of my monitor, the tool submenu is placed a certain amount to the left of the toolbox.

   Strangely enough, Photoshop and Illustrator don't suffer the same problem.

11. US Dictionary continues to use UK spellings

    My Indesign Dictionary is set to English: USA, but it still regularly corrects to UK spellings i.e. enrol vs. enroll. I am running Indesign 13.1. Can this be fixed?

    The Dictionary section in Preferences dialog shows the Dictionary that is in use for a particular Language. The path (which looks like /Linguistics/UserDictionaries/Adobe Custom Dictionary/…) shown in the dialog is the location of the dictionary that is being used. You can add your own custom User Dictionary by clicking on the + button.
    The Language used for Spell check is NOT the one chosen in the Preferences dialog.

    To specify the default Language used for Spell check for all documents, you should close all documents and select the Type Tool. The Control panel (when Character Formatting Controls – ‘A’ button is selected at the left) shows the Default Language set for all documents. This is the language used for Spell Check. You can also open the Paragraph Styles panel, double-click on the [Basic Paragraph] style and under Advanced Character Formats section, change the Language.

12. Fullscreen Application Frame Under Menu Bar

    When opening the program, occasionally the top bar of the interface is under the menu bar. Being as that also contains the portion of the interface used for moving the whole window, I must change my System Settings to hide the menu bar to move it back down. This also happens in a couple other CC programs as well.

13. Top Selection Bar Glitch

    2. For example, let's say I have a file open and I want to create a new file without using the shortcut CTRL+N. When I bring my cursor to the top bar containing File, Edit, Layout, Type, Object, etc... it selects the correct category which results in a dropdown menu, but as soon as I move my cursor a little, the system throws the cursor over like 2 tabs at a time. So for example, I click File, the menu drops down, I move the cursor to select the type of New file I want and then suddenly I have a different dropdown menu open, two tabs over. This is not a consistent issue but it happens often enough to be frustrating and bring me to write out this report. While writing this message, the program displayed the glitch (even if I resize the screen or close and reopen the program). Now randomly it works when 5 minutes ago it wasn't working properly.
    3. I would expect the dropdown menu I selected to remain when I click it and move the cursor through that menu.
    4. Sometimes it works as it should, other times it does what I described above.
    5. I would upload some way to view this issue if I knew how.

14. InDesign CC 2018 UK dictionary is wrong

    The UK dictionary in InDesign CC 2018 is wrong. It is recognizing both American and British spellings of certain words as correct. The biggest issues I've found so far are "iz" versus "is" spellings (e.g. capitalize/capitalise) and words that need an extra "e" (e.g. ageing). I have all text boxes in my document set to UK English, and spellcheck is finding certain misspellings (e.g. "or" versus "our"), but not others.

    This is a major problem for those of us who regularly have to "translate" text from American English to UK English. Is there a way to import a better UK dictionary?

15. page not displayed

    I am editing a long document (over 300 pages). Several non-consecutive spreads are displaying blank. When I change screen mode from normal to preview, it displays the content correctly. The same happens if I change Display Performance prom Typical to either Fast display or High Quality Display.
    Also selecting all the text (ctrl+A) takes more than 5 seconds. The same operation in MS Word is instant.

    My cursor is vanishing in InDesign when I move it over a frame (or object inside a frame). It is almost like it is underneath or behind the frame/object.

    App is OK after restart. Once working on the document for 10 min the navigation around the document and any command request, ie duplicate a image slows down and becomes sluggish until app is restarted once more.
    Im working on a iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), 4 GHz Intel Core i7, 24 GB 1867 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4 GB.

19. CC library window disappears from workspace

    Every time I start indesign the CC libraries window disappears from my workspace. I add it again and overwrite my workspace, but it disappears again as soon as I quit. Using CC 2018 13.0 on Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6

20. History panel erases undo option and history steps (behavior different from previous version) and

    The history panel seems to be limited to 5 actions. Additionally, with the latest update (20.2), if you access the history panel at all, it overtakes the Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z function for undo/redo as it has worked in the past.

    When the history panel is opened, it selects the most recent action. Even if the panel is closed, whatever is done after this point erases all the other actions, so that you are left with "open" as the previous step. Edit>Undo (Ctrl+Z) is disabled, and you can no longer undo work.

    Additionally, steps will sometimes combine themselves without any user action. (i.e. while documenting this, in between image 3-4 no action was taken except to switch between InDesign and the screen capture program). Switching in/out of InDesign erases the ability to undo work.

    If you type 6-7 characters, you can no longer undo anything prior to that. Open the history window, select a step, then place something.... undo is now limited to the place action; all other history steps are erased (as well as Ctrl+Z undo/redo steps).

    This is a huge step in the wrong direction.

    There are seemingly no settings related to history (unlike in Photoshop where a number of steps can be preserved). Iteration/layout experimentation is critical in InDesign and this update removes the ability to do that without incessantly creating a snapshot every time you do something or type more than a few characters.
