windows 10 - paste number from clipboard history into X/Y-object coordinates
How to repeat the issue:
- Activate Clipboard history in windows settings (win 10)
- Copy a random number to your clipboard (my testnumber "-2,375")
- Create a new document and place a rectangle (or random object) on your page
- Select the object and click (focus) in the field for the y-coordinates
- hit "windows+V" to open your clipboard history (must be activated in the settings)
- Click on your previous copied number.
6-Bug. The number has been pasted two times in the y-coordinates field.
Test system:
- Win 10 pro (1809)

Indesign Beach Balling on Mac
We have a 2017 iMac that is running High Sierra 10.13.6 with InDesign 14.0.1 and with working on a US Letter sized document with a text box with a single line of type, and one placed image, we get beach balling.
First open the document, can do anything we want (from typing new text or moving the picture box on the page, to even selecting a menu item) for about 30 seconds to a minute. After that, the beach balling starts. Then it seems to freeze for about 30 seconds to a minute, and then we can do ONE thing…

Indesign CC 2018 (oct): display of frame borders offset by 1 pixel
Indesign CC 14.0.1 x64, german
put a pageitems' left border exactly on X=0, aligning the item to the left side of a right page on facing pages... see screenshot...
Frame border is displayed offset by 1 pixel.
This does not apply to right aligned items on left pages. Here the frame border is displayed fine.
It's minor ... but ugly.

PDF Comments panel doesn't fill full height of panel
The actual content inside the PDF Comments panel does not fill the full available height of the panel. Leaves an awkward wasted empty space at the bottom of it. Screenshot attached.

Page-jump dialog disappears, leaving ID non-interactive
On three occasions since installing CC 2019, I've:
selected [command+j] to jump to a page
had the page-jump dialog appear, grab focus, and then immediately disappear
this has left InDesign in a non-interactive state, where I have to force-quit.

Libraries menu name
The menu name for the CC Libraries needs to be consistent across programs... Photoshop/Illustrator it is called "Libraries" in Windows -> Libraries
In InDesign it is called "CC Libraries". It should be called "Libraries" just like the others.

Interface not accurately displaying position of objects.
This has been happening ever since CC was released, and it drives me nuts.
Example: I have a rectangle perfectly aligned to the grid, but the frame edge does not share the same screen pixel as the grid line when zoomed out. Check the image examples:2 votes -
layers panel disappearing
My layers panel keeps disappearing - I go to the "Window" menu and open it up, do what I need to do and next time I go to use the layers panel - which I haven't closed - it has closed again... I need to keep revisiting the "Windows" menu every time I want to use it.

palettes stay closed/hidden when I open documents
Version of InDesign: 14.0
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close documents so that all documents are closed. (All palettes close.)
2. Open a document.Expected Result: I expect the palettes I last had open to be there automatically.
Actual Result: The document opens, but the palettes stay closed/hidden.
Any Workarounds: Currently, my workaround is to hit Command-Shift-D to bring up the Links palette. When I do that, all the palettes appear. I could, of course, select any palette from the menu, but a keyboard shortcut is so much quicker than mousing around to a menu item. This behavior didn't happen in…

Recent Files thumbails don't match corresponding documents
When choosing an ID document to open from the "recent files" screen, the wrong file opens; i.e., the document that opens does not match the document that I clicked on. Or, sometimes I get an error claiming that the document cannot be found, but the file is indeed right where I left it. This does not happen every time...sometimes the right document does open from the recent files screen, but not usually. This has only been happening to me only for the past week or two. I have not moved my files, changed folder names, replaced hard drives, or any…

Character, paragraph menus too long and getting longer on every open
The Character and Paragraph menus, anchored to the right side of my InCopy, pop out with extra empty space to the right of the menu options. And the extra space has grown each time I've opened InCopy on a fresh open. So when I just opened it today, the character menu is beyond the left edge of InCopy and beyond the left side of my laptop screen even. Paragraph styles menu, in the same grouping of menus, is fine, because it has a corner I can grab to resize it. And they also are still too wide when I un-anchor…

Assigned Shift+Delete to Edit→Cut; it does not work
It's quite annoying that Adobe products doesn't support the Ctrl+Insert, Shift+Delete and Shift+Insert (Copy, Cut and Paste) operations by default. All other software on Windows does support so everybody is used with this.
So I assigned the above shortcuts via Edit→Keyboard Shortcuts...
The Ctrl+Insert and Shift+Insert works, but the Shift+Delete (Cut) doesn't. It seems to me a bug, Shift+Delete being hard-coded and it's taking precedence over the assigned key combination.2 votes
