Any updates on this? It is very annoying and I essentially can no longer use Indesign 2026 for my documents because the program is getting hung up on trying to update my Calibri OTF fonts.

Is there any update on this please? We have had no information for 2 months and it's creating many problems for us for files using Calibri and Arial.

We use Calibri for our main typeface in our most frequent, largest, and important print projects. At this point I am just happy I'm not going crazy. I thought it was a user error or my computer.
I share files with another designer that has a Mac and it is affecting her too. I think because I create the documents and then send to her to edit. I don't think it happens when she creates documents on her Mac.
This is affecting me everyday with every file I open in InDesign. Adobe is a multi-million dollar company that has valued their products as being worth almost $800 a year after tax. This bug should not exist; it should have been fixed months ago. It is also completely dismissive to roll out an update since then with no fix in sight. Completely unacceptable.

Incredibly frustrating. I work on a document on both my workplace and home PCs. I open it at home, it tells me Calibri (TT) is missing, so I go through every single paragraph style telling it to use Calibri instead.
I go to work next day, it tells me Calibri (OTF) is missing; I go through all the paragraph styles and put them right again.
I go home again, open the document - Calibri (TT) is missing.FFS.

Adding to this with the Calibri fix! This is VITAL to my teams as almost all of our files since the beginning of our company have used Calibri, which means everything is "missing" Calibri. Please fix ASAP!

I'm having an issue with a font, which isn't recognized in Adobe InDesign 2022 but is perfectly working in InDesign 2021. Calibri

The known bug related to the recent Windows update causing Calibri to be not found is wreaking havoc on my work tasks. If I need to change everything out of Calibri, is there at least a way to do this in several (or hundreds) of files at the same time?

I concur with Matthew. We're approaching six months of this issue and a whole month since the last update from Adobe on any progress and that was merely "we're working on it." Do you have an ETA on a fix for this issue??

There's a new ID update, but this issue still isn't fixed. This is a seriously frustrating issue that shouldn't be THAT hard for a $100 billion company to fix...or at minimum, communicate about! Come on, Adobe!!

I currently have approximatly 500 books created with InDesign. I tried to edit one of them today, and I am getting a message stating that thefont I have used (Calibri) is not available and I have to change the font. If I have to do ths for all of my books it will take months, as there are over 1000 text boxes in each book. Please inform me how I can sort this out.

1. ID 21.2
2. Open a file made before the latest Windows update, its fonts will now be the incorrect version and appear as missing
3. InDesign should use the installed font
4. It's necessary to find/replace fonts on every file before it can be used. This also causes scripting issues. This also effects Library files made before the OS update.
It appears Windows updated TNR and Calibri with the last few updates and this is causing issues with InDesign. ID is the only Adobe product affected by this problem. The others (AI, PS and Pr) seem fine. The version of Windows is 26200.7840.
Screenshot attached. Calibri (OTF) is not a font we've ever used, and doesn't exist. The correct font is still called Calibri, so the replacement is Calibri (OTF) -> Calibri. This is for the entire family.
This problem also affects Times New Roman.
Should also mention that this exact problem exists on 5 different machines all running the same versions.
Thank you.

I posted a bug similar to this one, only my bug was about the Calibri typeface. I was asked to vote on this posting as well.
