I'm having the same issue, only with a blank dialogue screen as attached. Has anyone found a solution to this? It's crazy! I'm running Monterey 12.0.1

Holy sh*t this is so bad. Quick fix is to unplug any external monitors and restart InDesign. Should also mention that I'm experiencing similar issues with Photoshop 22. Think their QA team need an immediate overhaul as this is completely unacceptable.

Same issue here. Come ON Adobe. Not being able to 'save as' or export without unplugging/ restarting indesign/ force quitting is a huge fundamental fail in the software.

Just found out that the "Package" command doesn't work either. Way to go Apple.

Same here. Weird thing for me is I've been working on an external monitor for weeks, and it just started yesterday. Disconnecting external monitor and making my laptop the primary display works, but a blank window pops up when I export or do a "save as."

Same Problem here. Not sure if its Apple or Adobe? Here is only Illustrator working WITH external Screen, Photoshop and InDesign do not, no chance to save files with the external Screen.

Same issue here, only disconnecting the external monitor works, working on the MacBook’s Pro internal screen. Reconnecting the external display lets reoccur the issue again.

I am having issues with Save As, Export, and Place in InDesign, Photoshop AND Illustrator. Either the dialog box doesn't pop up at all, or it pops up blank like the attached screenshot. My OS is macOS Monterey and I have the latest 2022 Adobe programs, fully up to date as of today. I use an external monitor, but I've tried three different monitors and still having issues whether or not I am connected or disconnected to any other monitors. I also tried setting my laptop as the Main monitor in Settings>Displays and still having problems.

Agree with Peter Fischbach. Saw the InDesign update today, whatever it fixed, it wasn't this.

When will this issue finally be resolved? I'm forced to work with the internal monitor for two weeks now. This issue not only applies to the USB-C MINIX adapter but also to Dell USB-C monitors and Apple’s Thunderbolt display. It is a real hassle and there is no way back – very frustrating, every single day of work in InDesign and Photoshop. I will NEVER update within the first MONTHS after launch of new OS or Adobe Software. FYI: this issue only came up with my Intel-based Macbook Pro. On an M1-based MacBook Pro everything works – if this issue is due to Monterey in combination with Intel-based hardware and CC applications, then Apple must be informed and they need to deliver an update. This issue must be crippling thousands of users!

If I completely disconnect the dock, I can save. I'll hang it on again.. nothing works again...

Apple you absolute weirdos... this has to be an Apple thing. Casper Schougaard's right if you just set the primary monitor to the laptop is works fine... it's not like 90% of designers use an external monitor on these things. Thank God there's a fix for this mess.
