I am having this issue today. Just installed v16.1.

I have 2021, V16.4 and the issue is still happening. Is V16.1 the only version where it works?

Nope, still not fixed. And I can't roll back to an earlier version because this is a new license on a work laptop.

My program is still crashing. The blue dot is on one of the text wrap options-of course, the one I want to use, and all I get is the Death Wheel when I click on the icon, then program ultimately crashes. PLEASE fix this!

This issue is still happening. InDesign 16.3

It locks up the entire software to the point we are forced to task kill it. Rarely does it get to the point that it asks for the error log to be submitted.

Any update on this?

I have 16.1 and this is happening to me. So frustrating!

It is not fixed, just had a chat with support and they verified it!

Indesign 2021

Place image, open text wrap panel, does not open panel and crashes.

Happens with any image and any document. Panel opens fine if pic box empty.

Still crashing for me as well...

Still not fixed. I'm about to jump off a bridge. I can get text wrap around the bounding box but it crashes when I try to wrap around object shape. This is something I've used a million times with no issue but now it's broken.

this issue is still causing InDesign to crash. Spent hours upgrading system and app software today but no dice.

Any news on this? I have the same problem - the blue dot only appears on the Wrap around object shape option (I want to wrap to alpha channel) - when I select it I get a prompt to select object and then InDesign crashes. Running version 16.1 on Windows - UPDATE: just checked same on mac and there's still a blue dot but InDesign doesn't crash...

Issue is still happening today. I have the most recent version of Indesign 2021. It has crashed twice in a row, now, when I go to click on the Text Wrap panel.

Please help, I can't change or correct the styles because when I apply them, all the text disappears!
When I place text it appears blank! and when I type in a text box suddenly all the text disappears!

Bug is still here, not fixed. I don't crash, but it cannot be removed.

Everytime I click on "text wrap around object" (that has a blue dot on it), my ID 16.0.2 (up to date) crashes.

Working in InDesign 2021...Same problem. When making a text box and trying to type in it...cant see the text, although I know its there because there is a layer with the text showing in the actual layer. The blue dot is in the text wrap but for some reason cannot be removed. It sees a text wrap when there is none. I restarted with preferences off and that still did not fix the problem. Under Object Styles, all are off. Reopened the doc with InDesign 2020 which converted it from 2021 to 2020 and now no problem.
