    Working in InDesign 2021...Same problem. When making a text box and trying to type in it...cant see the text, although I know its there because there is a layer with the text showing in the actual layer. The blue dot is in the text wrap but for some reason cannot be removed. It sees a text wrap when there is none. I restarted with preferences off and that still did not fix the problem. Under Object Styles, all are off. Reopened the doc with InDesign 2020 which converted it from 2021 to 2020 and now no problem.
