Share for Review- White/Black screen only
When I try to Share for Review, I only see this. I have updated my software to the most recent release. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
The fix for this issue is available in the latest InDesign release 16.2.1
Please update to this latest version of InDesign to get the fix.

This issue has NOT been fixed. I have InDesign 16.0 and Share for Review does not work, it got worse.

I use Share for review all the time. I shut down IDD, quit CC on both the app and the web, removed the cache items listed below and still a problem. It is either hanging or I am getting the error having problems sending invites or finding the invited reviewers

I work with a number of designers and we are all experiencing the same thing with the latest version of Indesign that share for review stops working – you click the icon and Share for Review and its just blank – or it hangs on the circle – this is only once an existing review link exists – the only way to fix it is to log out of Adobe CC altogether and log back in again – sometimes you even have t ocreate a brand new link

Same issue here. Share review worked perfect until yesterday, today only a black / blank screen showing up.
Relaunched Creative Cloud, Indesign, Macbook ... nothing helps. Working with the latest version (16.0). -

Didn't find Folders/Files Anonymus suggested to delete. I signed out of Cloud, also deleted a 2nd version of Indd (noticed I had two versions of the 2021 installed) it's working now.

Worked for me:
1. Sign out of CCD
2. Delete caches
/Users/yourname/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign
/Users/yourname/Library/Caches/CSXS/cep_cache3. Sign into CCD
4. Re-open InDesign

Hi. So far I LOVE LOVE LOVE the review function of InDesign. It is amazing. I do see a black screen bug that pops up. The only way I have found to undo it is to sign out of my CC account and sign back in. All of my CC apps are updated.

if you have lost your workspace (Carol Jones) try clicking on Window/Workspace/Advanced that might bring it back

If you still see the Share for Review panel coming up blank, we would like you to do the following:
1) Sign out from CCD and clean all the log files present in Logs folder. Logs are present here:
on Mac: ~/Library/Logs/
on Win: %temp%
2) Create an empty file using any Text Editor - the filename should be "asu.trace"
3) Place this "asu.trace" file in the Logs folder
4) Sign in using CCD
5) Collect all logs via the Log Collector Tool. To do so:
Download & Run the Log Collector Tool from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
6) All logs captured via Log Collector Tool are saved to the Desktop as ZXP file7) Share the following with us by sending it to rkiran@adobe.com :
a) Version of CCD (you will find it here: Creative Cloud > About Creative Cloud - the 1st item in the list)
b) Version of adobe_licensing_helper - you will find it here:
on Mac : /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Desktop Common/LCC/adobe_licensing_helper.app
on Win : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\LCC\
c) ZXP file (from step 6).--

Updated to ID 2021, followed the comment below about deleting some prefs and caches. Still a black screen. Insert eyeball here. Adobe, you create a LOT of wasted time for everyone. Ridiculous.

I threw away (on desktop) all the files suggested by Anonymous and Share for Review is indeed working. However, now I don't have my set up for my workspace which took me hours to set up and that I've used for years. Which file that I tossed would possibly bring that back? Preferences

happening to me too. This is the only thing that worked
Delete the following:
on Mac:
/Users/yourname/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign
/Users/yourname/Library/Caches/CSXS/cep_cache -
