Save functions unavailable
I'm using a Mac and running Catalina, have ID 2020. Yesterday, an existing file of 33 pages stopped allowing me to save it. I had no idea it wasn't saving and lost hours worth of work by the time I realized what was happening. I tried starting a new document and pasting the text into it, but same problem. I started a new document again and it allowed me to save immediately, but the second I dropped in text (different text this time), I lost the ability to save the file. I can export to PDF or IDML, but cannot simply save the file.
Please share sample documents with us to investigate this issue.

I am having the same issue. I don't have any documents to share because I cannot save anything I am working on currently. The options aren't greyed out, they modal just won't open to select where to save, etc. I'm having the same problem with placing an image... the modal window where I would select which image to place is not opening up when I try and place. This keeps happening randomly and all I can do when it happens is force quit and hope that a temporary file is saved, restart my computer and try again.

I have te same problem with a file of a client of mine. Also Undo/Redo is greyed out (after making a change). Can I send a package to the same email-adress?
Kind Regards

Adobe tried to fix this today, stating it's a Catalina/Mac issue and had to do with security issues. Minutes after they "fixed" it, the whole issue happened again.
