PDF Export
InDesign CC2019 / PDF Export Print (Druck)
It is no longer possible to export correctly to PDF x3 or x4; and it is no longer possible to change the export settings of colour profiles (for example to FOGRA 39 or ISO Coated etc…)
An update (14.0.1) is now available for InDesign CC 2019. The update contains the fix for this issue.
Please install this update via the Creative Cloud application.

Hi together,
I think this is a bug with graphic cells plus transparency AND exporting to PDF/X-1a where transparency is flattened. CC 2015, CC 2017and CC 2018 are affected.Workaround: Put a transparent element on the page or the spread outside the table. Could be a rectangle with a [Paper] fill that is set to 0% Blend.

Manche Bilder nach PDF-Export blau eingefärbt - warum?

When using images for print, I wouldn't recommend PNG as that's a format really designed for screen and it doesn't support CMYK. For images with a transparent background, I'd always use PSD format.

Now I had the same probleme with an PSD File in a table. The PSD file had onla one layer and transparency. Wrong printing result. The image was printed much to dark.

I had exactly the same problem - could only fix it by using PSDs

The colorseparation when creating a PDF-File is wrong when the image in InDesign is a PNG file and when the PNG File is placed in a table. In my case the image became totally blue.
If the same PNG file is place in the table and the same file is also placed outside the table on the same page than both images are separated correctly!
Look in the attached files and look at page one with only one PNG file in a table and than look on the second page with the PNG file in the table and outside the table. (It’s the image with a wolf and a sheep riding a sledge.)
Strange thing. Must be a bug. This happend in InDesign CC2017 and in the new CC2018.
