InDesign performance issue: New document window gives blank screen
Latest version of InDesign supplied by Creative Cloud installer on 64-bit Windows 10 PC.
Steps to reproduce:
1. File - New Document.
2. Bingo...
Expected result:
A useful window with options to create a new document.
Actual result:
A useless blank screen (see attached screenshot).

We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 15.0
Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.

Latest version of InDesign (14.0). supplied by Creative Cloud installer on a macOS Sierra version 10.12.6 (16G1510).
The problem began right after updating to this newest version.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an existing document or a new one.
2. File - New Document.
3. Bingo...Expected result:
A useful window with options to create a new document.Actual result:
A useless blank dialog box with the title New Document (see attached screenshot). -

oh good because this bug has been driving me insane. Am I the only person with this bug?

After closing InDesign (or it crashes), reopening renders ALL dialogue boxes as blank. This has not been resolved in the latest update 207 (windows 10 64 bit).
The only solution is keep reinstalling the patch.

My File > New document shows no dialog box at all. Its hidden somewhere and no matter how i try to resolve, the iss ue still remains
