Beveled and Embossed image should not flatten during pdf export

A bug that needs fixing:
InDesign Version CC, I embedded an image, applied a shear, applied the bevel and emboss effect, when exporting to pdf, it flattens the sheared image and adds a weird bevel in the middle of the image. Screenshot 1 from InDesign, Screenshot 2 from resulting pdf. This needs to be corrected.

    hi there. I joined the Adobe Prerelease program. I don't know how to go about verifying whether or not the fixed issue works. Do I have to download something and if so, could you please provide me with the link?
