InDesign version 13.0.1 x64. Dynamic spelling does not show misspelled words with red underline as you type, prefs are set to that.
InDesign version 13.0.1 x64. Dynamic spelling does not show misspelled words with red underline as you type, prefs are set to that. But if you do right mouse button, or spell check, it does know the word is misspelled, offering correction suggestions. We really need to see it "dynamically" as one types; this feature is not working.

Please check to see if you are not in one of the following Screen Modes : Preview/Bleed/Slug. In these modes, the red underline for Dynamic Spelling is not shown.

Apologies! Screen mode was set to "preview". No idea how. Reverted to "Normal" mode. All okay. Thanks!

Having the same issue. I've purposely misspelled words in my document and InDesign is not underlining them. I have dynamic spelling checked. The colors are set. Nothing appears...

Thanks for the email notice and your helpful solution. Wonderful! Works fine in "Normal" screen mode. I love InDesign!
