InDesign CC 2018/High Sierra - Cannot package files
Since updating to High Sierra I am not able to package files. The error message is simply "Unable to package the document. InDesign cannot access '(file name'.indd).
I am using InDesign CC 13.0.1 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.1
Don't know if this is of any use or not, but also if I try using my bulk packaging script, the error I get is "undefined is not an object (line 186)

Hello All,
The issue has been fixed with Apple’s MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Beta (17E139).
You can try out the fix by updating your machine to the beta update from Apple.
Let us know if the issue is fixed for you after aforementioned High Sierra beta update.

When I go to package a file (running El Capitan), the package file window is extremely wide. I have to scroll back and forth just to click "Package" on the bottom right. It won't let me drag the edge of the window to reduce the width. Am I missing something? Have searched in InDesign, online, no luck.

Indesign CC 2018, OS 10.13.3 High Sierra.
Shows spinning wheel when packaging Document with 100 pages and 200+ images. I have to force quit.
With Indesign CS4 and OS 10.7.5 it was never a problem.

I've had this problem for months as well. I can't package files when connected remotely to a VPN that my client requires I use. Saving the file(s) to my desktop and then Packaging them appears to work.

The update is only available to developers and public testers. The user has logged into the app store as a developer but still cannot find the update.

I have same problem, as well as not getting document icons when I do a finder search. Just get blank icon and can't link back to original. Super Painful right now.

Yea I don't know how we get our hands on 10.13.4 but this REALLY needs to be fixed ASAP!
It says it's available to public beta testers, how do we obtain this? -

January 25 it was working by connecting to the server using cifs. But now this solution is not working anymore.

Have the same problem. Am using the solution to save file to desktop and package from there until there is a better fix.

This worked for me, found on forum linked below. Hopefully it continues to work, will update if things change.
'Solution:
Connect to server using cifs:// instead of smb://
I found this allows you to package the files'-mharrisHOOT (user from https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2408693)

Are there any updated on when this will be fixed or have I missed how to fix? I am having the same issue, but someone sitting next to me at work does not?
I am in Indesign CC 13.0.1 on High Sierra 10.13.1 as well. HELP?

I should have waited till next year to upgrade to High Sierra.

I have the same issue. As well as files becoming corrupt I've gone back to working in 2017. My coworkers have the same issues.
