  1. AI content labelling

    Hi, I just opened indesign to see my own work labelled as AI generated. I haven't used any AI tools to produce any of my data, yet it appears as such in many instances. Are these metadata stores upon export too? How is Adobe going to address this? This basically robs me of my copyrights. Would appreciate if this was only toggle on/off feature, and not the default.

  2. bug: share for review panel shows previously opened file instead of current file

    When doing an "update content", the Share for Review panel is frequently showing the previously opened file instead of the one currently being worked in, even if that previously worked on file is closed. You have to close and restart the whole InDesign program to reset the panel so its correct.

  3. Sharing for review results in an error. InDesign 21.2

    When sharing for review, when I modify content and it updates, it takes longer than usual and eventually throws an error. This has happened three times already. Then I have to create a new review link. The downside is that if the document already has comments or corrections marked, I have to open the previous link.

  4. Share link is buggy in 2026 version

    I recently updated to Adobe InDesign 21.1 and have had several issues with the Share for Review link.

    • InDesign periodically just drops the link and I have to create a new one to share so I loose what comments people have made already.

      • When I click on SHARE button on the top left of my screen that says “Share for Review - create link to capture feedback” in order to update the link it gives me an error code that says “There was an error updating the artifact.” It won't update.
      • Items that were “pinned” switch to “unmapped” when I…

  6. Highlighting or Changing Text

    I’m experiencing an issue when highlighting text to delete it, changing the case, or switching fonts. The entire text, including the text above (on the same page), disappears. If I scroll up and then back down, I can make it reappear.

  7. PDF Kommentare und Share for Review angleichen

    Ansich ist das ja eine gute Sache, aber warum unterscheiden sich die Kommentarfunktionen zu denen im Adobe Acrobat.
    wenn ich PDF Kommentare aus einen PDF importiere, kann ich die per Mausklick übernehmen. Bei der überprüfen Funktion geht das nicht.
    Bitte die Kommentarfunktionen aus Acrobat genau so auch im Share for Review übernehmen.

  8. Review Links Deleted

    I was having issues yesterday EOD publishing a review link. I wound up leaving for the day as it wasn't working. When I got back in this morning, I went to my review link files on adobe.com and noticed a grayed-out placeholder link that was seemingly corrupt that I couldn't open.

    I deleted the file. When I did so, ALL of my review links disappeared, and none of them are working anymore.

    I can't seem find any way to get them back. Furthermore, I can't seem to create new ones.

    What can I do?

  9. share for review completely broken in ID and online

    Share for review is completely useless and does not work in the latest release on osX Tahoe. I can see the comments from clients listed in the panel, however they are not marked in the document and when clicked on them it does not show you where. So i have to open the comments in a browser (and its buggy even there!!!) and locate the reviews manuall.y. Also, when i update documents (also in AI), i always get a red popup saying that the file update has failed (although it does not fail and the changes are updated). Anyway, a…

  10. Share for Review fails to update - InDesign 2026

    InDesign 2026 v21.0 (the latest update)

    Creating a new Share for Review link works without issue. However, updating an existing review link consistently triggers the error: “There was an error updating the artifact.” When this happens, the review document does not update. The only way to refresh the content is by generating a new review link, which unfortunately removes all previously added comments.

    After sending an InDesign document out for review and others made comments, InDesign updated to version 21. Now the links are broke and the comments in the review are inaccessible.

  12. Share for review suddenly aligned left

    Since a few weeks ago (maybe longer) I've noticed that when viewing documents in Share for Review (I think this happens in Illustrator as well as InDesign) everything is aligned to the left of the screen. I'm pretty sure it used to be centered. I don't think this is a browser-specific issue - I first noticed it in Microsoft Edge but saw the same thing when I opened in Firefox.

  13. Share for Review PDF link: asset not found

    When uploading the share for review file, the upload hung up for a long time. It finally went through, but once I followed the link I get an Error 404: Asset not found in safari.

    Have refreshed the link multiple times with no change.

  14. Review link fails to update if other documents are open in InDesign

    When multiple documents are open in InDesign, attempting to update the review link triggers an error message: 'An error has occurred.' The review link will only update if no other documents are open.

    The field to show the actual page number is too small. It only shows one character of the number.

    Tested on a Mac with Chrome, Safari, Firefox.

  16. Horizontal scrollbar in Adobe Preview is hard to find.

    My clients are complaining that when they enlarge the page view in Adobe Preview, they can't see half the page and don't see a way to scroll to it. The problem is the slider at the bottom of the browser window doesn't appear until you hover over it with the cursor - and once you do, it is very shallow and hard to click on, especially for older clients with less than perfect vision.
    Could this not be made visible once the view is enlarged, and make it a bit thicker so less nimble hands can click on it?

  17. Where is the link to online Files in Creative Cloud Desktop?

    Up until recently, when I shared InDesign files, I was able to open the CC Desktop app, go to Files > Files, and there would be a direct link to my online files. That very convenient feature has disappeared completely. My workaround has been to add an internet shortcut to my Windows Explorer files.

    I have been told that it was removed because of problems on the backend with InDesign, but if that were the case, then I would have also been able to access that direct link in CC Desktop for files shared from Photoshop or Illustrator. It's bad…

  18. Add pins from Indesign to be shared for review

    While editing a file in InDesign, I have many ideas or questions to submit to the reviewers audience.
    However, I need to wait for all my edition work to be completed and shared for review online before being able to add pins and other comments. This is cognitively quite expensive, and it's not efficient overall.
    I wish I could add pins and comments right from InDesign (= new items in the Verify panel), to be published with the next "Share for Review" push.

  19. Share for Review: Invitation links are no longer file name

    Updated to InDesign V 20.2

    Share for Review invitation emails used to include the file name, but now show in the subject and body text as a string of characters. I have multiple files being shared to review daily, and its become difficult and time consuming to find previously shared projects since my email inbox is no longer displaying the names of the files being shared.
