Display issue
Lines and slightly shifted objects. When I scroll up and down theses lines disappear and reappear elsewhere (=> screenshots 2 and 2B). Since the update to CC 2023, these display errors only appear in Indesign, not in other programs.

W switch between normal and bleed mode
Pressing W switch between normal and bleed mode and not between normal and preview mode for this specific document.
And sometimes no shortcut is working for this INDD.

Hyperlink url gets cut off
When creating a hyperlink by selecting text, the hyperlink gets cut off if the selection exceeds a certain number of characters – and the link ends up invalid.
Easy to reproduce, see attached video.

dark interface &
Appearance dark theme not matching the settings or OS. I selected dark theme but pasteboard and window top bar light grey. It should be uniform dark.
Other issue is workspaces often does not show up after launching app requiring me to select a workspace other than my custom setting to show up on screen and only then can I select my custom workspace to have it show up. If I select my custom workspace right away after launch when no windows or tools show up nothing happens the screen stays without any panels or tools. Clearly a bug

Hello^^ My downloaded ID program, I think, is missing some features or functions.
Actually I think ID in my notebook is downloaded with a incomplete one. I'm a beginner of ID. But while I'm learning it through Youtube lecture, some functions are not active. The lecturer explains a certain function and that item on his ID is active. But on my ID that functions is displayed inactive, so that fucncition can not be selected. Please let me have a normal, complete ID in my notebook.

Tools Screen Mode buttons vanish
In the tools menu panel, the screen mode button vanishes.... I turn off the tools and then turn it back on and things are happy... for awhile..... it's not a major pain but rather a nuisance... LOL.....

File preview bug
I've upgraded from InDesign v2022 to v2023 (18.0). When I'm saving files after converting them, the preview image disappears where it was saved with the previous version.

black glitch
while I move a photo or any text, a black rectangle is created along the entire screen that prevents me from seeing what I'm doing, and it disappears as soon as I stop doing what I was doing

2-UP Vertical window mode creeps wider with every click
- Indesign 18.2.1.
- Open two documents and then select 2-UP vertical window mode
- I expect both windows to stay the same width that I have set when opening 2-UP vertical window mode.
- When using 2-UP vertical screen mode, the left hand window creeps wider by one pixel every time I click in the right hand window.

Non-breaking hypens and column break in linked word file does not work in InDesign
I have a word file linked to my InDesign document. However, it is not working as anticipated. Two examples:
* non-breaking hyphens in the word document disappears in InDesign
* manual column breaks in the word document becomes pages breaks in InDesign - I have tried to use a second text frame in the same page as a workaround, but the second frame remains empty (until moved to the next page).1 vote -
Screen flickers when I move an item
When I want to move something , for example a text frame, my screen flickers. This is very annoying and i'm afraid if i move items too much, Indesign will crash. What can I do to fix this?

Fit spread in window view only works 10% of the time. Please fix issue. I just updated InDesign to 17.4 and no fix.

Numeric pad Key "3" not working when specific char style is present
I have the same issue with Num pad Key "3" and I have narrowed it down to one specific character style. When this style is present in a document, then Num pad 3 is not working. I have an indesign file with nothing else inside other than this character style but it is not accepted for upload.

InDesign window defaults fullscreen after escaping presentation mode
When entering presentation mode (shift+w), and then escape, InDesign windows becomes fullscreen.
When I come out of presentation view the window size gets forgotten and automatically becomes the size of my entire screen (very annoying to keep having to resize the window all the time, completely disrupts my work flow) It even cuts off the bottom tool bar, which I use a lot.
I have an M1 Macbook, Indeisgn 17.4
I have previously posted this and told that the issue was fixed. I followed all instructions and the issue is still there.

libraries
I like working with libraries. which are anchored to the side. sometimes when i open indesign, the libraries are gone or messy on my screens.
it is always difficult to find them again, to place them in the quietest. it is an unnecessary waste of time for me and I have to reorient myself again.
i had this problem with all indesign versions so far i haven't complained.1 vote -
Type 1 font warning for no reason
I am getting a warning that my document contains type 1 fonts (10 of them) when they do not (contains 4 OTF fonts).
As far as I know, I have never used a type one font in any document on my current computer which is only a few weeks old ... Mac mini with t1 chip.

If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

Problem loading font blocks export
It is common that when importing a text from Word or simply activating a new font (I use FontXplorer X Pro) InDesign stays in the activation process infinitely. This unfinished process blocks any export. The solution is to close InDesign.

Indesign quits after mac goes to sleep
Have to open In-Design (18.1) again (not sure if it's an actual crash) after the Mac (mini - Ventura (13.2.1) goes to sleep after an hour. Other Adobe programs don't do this.
Upon opening InDesign, it won't automatically open the Properties and Tool floating pallets even though it is marked to open under the Window drop down menu and that I've set it up that way before opening or creating a new file. The other floating pallets selected will show.

'manage extensions' not in 'help' dropdown
The extensions option is not showing in the "help" menu. When I go to the Help Menu there is no "Manage Extensions" option. Please provide troubleshooting steps as I need to load a local extension into inDesign. Extensions option not showing in "Window" menu
The extensions option is not showing in the "Window" menu. When I go to Edit-> Menu I can see it as a visible option, but it does not show up. Please provide troubleshooting steps as I need to load a local extension into inDesign.
