Online document pre-loading / slow first screen animations
When a viewer first accesses a published document the first screen or cover page can be slow to load.
Often we include animated elements here and they will stutter and glitch on first loading in any browser.
Is there a way to pre-load the online document before it appears so the viewer doesn't experience a poor animated first page?

When choosing to link a button to a page, remove hard coding of links to a page even if it gets moved.
I have discovered an "error" or possible limitation of an existing feature when linking to pages through buttons.
For example, I set a button to go to page 9. Later I drug that content to a new location in the document (page 2), thus changing it's page number. However, the button no longer went to the content that was now on page 9, it jumped to the content that was original there when I set that button.
Can we have the set page number option just link to the current page even if content was moved around after setting up…

Please allow multiple indesign files to be published as ONE published online magazine
I have magazine of 80+ pages which i have completely designed with multiple files as you would do in any magazine design and i thought in the end i would just combine all the files into one BOOK format and publish online. But to my misery that option doesn't work with online publishing. Imagine tomorrow the magazine needs to give live for an event and now i have to create a new single file and copy paste all the pages into the new file and keep checking if all the interactive features are working fine. Thanks Folks at Indesign for…

Predetermine Adobe .pdf settings for Publish Online Documents
I post interactive documents in a double page spread with Publish Online, but when it is downloaded, all the interactivity is stripped out and it downloads as single pages. What is the point of posting an interactive document in a spread format if you can't download it, as an interactive document in spread format!
I would like to be able to predetermine the .pdf download options before publishing online ie double page spread with (cover page) and choose the interactive elements to be included. That way when they press download .pdf it is downloaded with all the interactivity and in…

Publish Online search field is missing
It needs a search box on the dashboard to simplify the search. Now you scroll for minutes and search the specific document to overwrite it.

I want to let viewers scroll through an Indesign multipage file on my Pf site, using the "Publish Online" feature in InDesign
I want to let viewers scroll through an Indesign multipage file as one item in my portfolio grid in my Pf site. Perhaps InDesign and Portfolio can integrate a new feature using the "Publish Online" feature in InDesign to accomplish this in Pf!

Publish Online iPhone view Disappear the URL Search Bar
When we publish a document online, the chances are it will be 16:9 or a double page spread. Many client may wish to view this on a device such as iPad or iPhone.
We have found that when we try to do this and turn the device (iPhone, Safari) to landscape mode, the URL search field bar can appear and NOT disappear again. This takes a lot of screen space and ruins the effect and view of the page.
Is there a solution to this?

GDPR regulations demand that data collections turned of on the Publish Online feature for my client upload to their website.
Even though Adobe claims to be up-to-date with GDPR regulations, I need to know how to turn all data collections off in InDesigns "Publish Online" feature, for my client to actually use the asset that was created for them. With the new GDPR regulations, they can not publish anything online that collects any kind of data.
Please explain how I do this?

"Go back to a specific page"
"Go back to a specific page" - meaning if I have text links in the file and move from page 10 to page 110, give me an easy way to return to where I came from. In this case, page 10. Like a back button navigating through webpages. This is for PUBLISH ONLINE

A Home Page for Publish Online Documents
Allow us to assign uploaded documents to a home page that would display several at once. And allow us to give it a human-readable address. That'd make linking to these documents easier.

Toggles in Dashboard for published content
Introduce zwo Switches/toggles for "Hide the Share and Embed code" and "Allow PDF-Download" within the dashboard for an already published document so it doesn’t have to be republished every time one wants to change any of these options?

Fix Javascript errors on all Publish Online documents
Every single Publish Online document throws a Javascript error. The error code seems to be the same for every document. The below was taken from 'Five Days from Nowhere', an Adobe example document used on the Publish Online documentation. The issue is that this Javascript error makes it impossible to add any custom Javascript as any subsequent code will not execute when the document is embedded in a different environment. This is a big issue for example for implementing Google Analytics Tracking codes into iframes.

Syncing Redlines from Adobe Asset Cloud to InDesign
Syncing Redlines from Adobe Asset Cloud to InDesign - Noticing that the asset cloud link has the ability to redline and comment, but the redlines do not come over on the InDesign side with the asset link as they do when you import Adobe comments/redlines. This feature would be hugeeee for our industry to have. Also, using the asset link feature live has crashed indesign a couple times.

Publish Online & Right-Click
I frequently use the feature in InDesign that allows direct online export. However, as an artist and creator, I find it inappropriate that anyone can easily right-click on the artwork and save it as an image. For example, Google Drive doesn't allow viewers to do that. Can InDesign implement a similar restriction?
Password protection isn't good enough; sometimes it doesn't work, and we need to make editors' lives easier. I want full control over my images and don't want anyone to save my images to their desktop so easily. It's true that many images are online, but not all of…

Have a trash can function in Publish Online
If documents are accidentally deleted from Publish Online, they are gone forever, which if done in error, can cause a huge problem. It would be so helpful if deleted documents could be placed in a trash can, even if for only a week or so, to take away the risk of accidental deletion. Thanks
