Media Panel is missing all playback settings for MP4 files in InDesign 2020
CC 2020 is missing all its control settings for playing MP4 files in an interactive pdf. Until this year's upgrade you had multiple options on what Controller Functions appeared when playing/displaying MP4's in an Interactive PDF document.

Navigation Points have been re-introduced in the Media panel. This feature is available in the latest release of InDesign (version 16.0). Please use this release to use Navigation Points for Video/Audio files.
However, the Controller options will not be available. As communicated earlier, all options (Controller options being one of them) related to Flash/Flash player have been removed from InDesign as Flash Player is now being EOL’d (End of Life).

commentedInteresting terrible customer service, all these people asking the same question and no answer apart from reviewing shortly? We are at the end of Feb and still no update?

commentedPLEASE fix the media panel for interactive PDFs! The update has actually made it very difficult to use and incorporate videos into interactive presentations. Please listen to your end users in this thread. This may seem like a small change, but it's really having a negative impact on peoples' work. If it's not broken - don't 'fix' it!

commentedWhen you presenting your project with the video in the PDF, sometimes you want to move on and do not wish to continue to finish the video, but the video still playing in the background with sound and it's annoying. At least stop the video once you skip to the next page. And the worst is the next page also another video now two videos playing at the same time. Isn't that fun?

commentedIf it would be the Blender Institute open 3D software, it would be fixed within 72 hrs average.
I could not survive without adobe products for 1 day so please do what we pay you for.

commentedI'm assuming this isn't fixed yet as I can't access the media function still. Bit useless to downgrade a system when you are meant to upgrade with changes.

commentedWow guys. The fact that you've been sitting on this issue for over 4 months with no update or fix forthcoming speaks volumes. This is a crucial element of your software. Really disappointing Adobe. Why the **** would you remove the controller functions? That sounds like ******** to me.

commentedThe current workaround for this problem is to add the controls after you export the interactive PDF. You can do so by opening the document in Acrobat and right-clicking the video. Go to properties and open the control tab and you'll see the skin playback controls.
