InDesign fails to import Whatsapp JPG

Since today neighter Indesign can import nor Photoshop can open Whatsapp JPG's. Please deliver a solution!

    I get a lot of images via whatsapp and I have to download each image and then go through each one a save them one at a time to the correct format. This takes me double the amount of time that I usually need to do for all other formats.
    Adobe, please fix this issue ASAP!!
    Looking forward to seeing this issue resolved in a timely manner and I am anticipating a smoother process going forward. Thank you.

    Adobe please fix this issue. It is 2021 and still facing this issue in Indesign CC 20201 (16.2.1)

    Hi, is there a patch for InDesign CS6 for the issue where the whatsapp photos doesn't import.

    Please!!! it takes forever to convert JPG's into file that can be imported
