Placing Illustrator file from libraries to allow me to select which artboard I want to place
I have a few Illustrator files that have multiple artboards that I use frequently. I want to be able to drag the Illustrator file from the libraries panel and then be able to select which artboard from the Illustrator file I want to place.

Agree. This is a no-brainer.
I would also like to be able to update artboards like you can with Photoshop layer comps, and be able to use the artboard name as well as the artboard number.
And search for artboard name when placing.
And caption using artboard name. -

I have the same problem, it would be a huge improvement.

Having the same issue. It seems like even if a dialog box wasn't given upon placing from CC library to InDesign, there'd be a toggle to select which artboard to show at some point. I love CC libraries, and really need this. Having multiple files for sign backgrounds is a waste of time - we're forced to choose either CC Libraries or AI files with multiple artboards and working old school.

This would be a huge time saver, and be a bless for organizing files!

Literally talked to Adobe about this yesterday. It makes complete sense for this to be a feature!
Hope it happens, soon. We work with multi-artboard icon files in Illustrator & it would be great to have my library work that way
