InDesign Preview For Finder
There really should be an InDesign preview for Mac Finder. This should be a requirement for your software and should not be considered a feature request.
Preview of InDesign documents in Mac Finder and Windows Explorer is available in InDesign version 2023.

Well, it's sort of fixed. It only works with spread previews enabled in the settings and the maximum size is 1024, which is kind of ****** these days.

I have no idea why this stated completed? The .indd preview is still not working in the latest version of the app and os?

So very frustrated with InDesign after the updated to 2023 back in December. I am on version 18.1.0.51 and Mac OS version 12.6.2 on an M1 Mac and no matter what I try I cannot get InDesign to save with preview. I've checked the preferences, I've deleted and replaced the preferences, I've seen from this and other posts this is an ongoing issue with many users. PLEASE fi this.

Love that this is fixed now, but would love to suggest a huge improvement on its functionality.
Please enable Quicklook/Preview of files to show the entire spread, rather than just the one page.

Adobe, this is not fixed!

Sorry, this is not fixed. There is an ID logo, not the contents of the page.

Apologies Ravi, but this is not resolved. Please see image below! (and my last post)

So, I got all excited thinking that Adobe Indesign 2023's "Preview InDesign documents" would solve this. I really don't get what they don't understand. Please can you enable this to work with the Finder thumbnails. See attached for how it works now and how it should work (via inddPreview.app purchased from App Store).
I even had the developers contact me earlier in the year. I thought I explained it clearly. Obviously not.

Essential! Such an obvious and basic request?

This would come in very handy.

I guess Code Line is not going to update ArtView for anything after Catalina? I just upgraded to Big Sur - like going back to the dark ages!

I se many people link to the Artview app. There is an alternative, costs 3.99 but has less function. Basically it only shows the JPG preview saved inside the file. Works like a champ on OSX and for just 3.99 its nice.

Why this is still not possible if photoshop, illustrator etc. working well?

Please, please, please! I'm currently licensing ArtView, but still ultimately prefer the mac experience of QuickLook. It should do Spread View too!

This really has to be my Number 1 most frustrating issue with Indesign. Apple's QuickLook is so powerful. I have been using https://www.code-line.com/artview/ for years (makes Quicklook work for Indesign and Illustrator files). Every year when new macOS comes out I send my usual email to code-line to make sure artview works before I update. It is that important to me. One year I didn't check and it wasn't compatible.. Boy, do I regret that 4 months until the update came out.
I can not express how deeply I hated using Bridge for that 4 months just so I could get a preview of the documents.
I have over 11,000 indesign files so using Apple's Spotlight search with thumbnail previews and Quicklook (thanks to ArtView) is a god send.
Please, please, please enable Thumbnails/Quicklook on macOS.
Thanks
