Same Features like Affinity Publisher and Photo
I wish to have similar features on InDesign as it is possible with Affinity.

It would be helpful to have a select similar feature for lines and other drawn objects like in illustrator because sometimes I need to change a bunch of things to a different line weight and currently must manually find and change them. I always miss it when I'm working in Indesign instead of Illustrator.

Add a built in HTML5 Page Curl Effect please
At the moment Indesign still only offers the SWF option to create a page curl effect and with Flash player soon to be no longer supported, and currently it only works intermittently now, it would be very useful to have a built in html5 version. At the moment the only option is to purchase an expensive plugin from In5 to do something I think Indesign should have?

Incorporate iCloud Filemanagement
As my MacBooks SSD isn't too big I've enabled iCloud's storage feature. InDesign doesn't really like when macOS suddenly decides to delete the local copy of files I've embedded into my document and it's a hassle to deal with because there is no way to redownload all the files I need within InDesign. It would be super useful to see a better description of what happened with an embedded file and have to opportunity to download it without having to jump into Finder.

Live link Microsoft word documents when placed in InDesign
When working with lots of teams and writers in our organisation. the constant issue we run into is only a select group of people have InDesign and the experience to operate the files. If there was a way when placing word documents were linked into InDesign, this would allow for a much more fluid workflow when there are a lot of edits.
I am sure there are many limitations to this, but finding some sort of solution could make a big difference to creating quality documents that will allow non indesign users access. InCopy is not a viable option in…

make data merge possible from Google Sheet without being forced to make csv
I use DataMerge a lot and its really boring to be forced to export an update to csv when working in collaboration.

Ya'll Know that 1 Month Ago I Asked If Adobe CC 2018 or 2019 would work with MACOS CATALINA Despite the 32 Bit Sub Apps like "Application Manager," "AAMLauncherUtil" "AAM Registration Notifier" and others. Export to tiff/psd
One, very obvious feature is missing form indesign: export document to tiff. This feature should allow exporting all pages to separate tiff/psd files, preferably with preserved layers.

Hallo Adobe-team,
ich hatte gerade eine Idee, was eine coole neue Funktion von Indesign, Illustrator und Co werden könnte.
Derzeit habe ich viele Jobs aus dem Print und Webbereich ... Schnell ein Dokument geöffnet und dann zu spät bemerkt, dass ich noch nicht auf das richtige Farbmanagement-Preset umgestellt hatte. Mist.
Das passiert mir mindestens gefühlte 10mal täglich und nervt dann irgendwann.
Nun die Idee:
Wie wäre es, wenn der User beim Öffnen nicht nur die Option zur Konvertierung in einen anderen Farbraum hätte, sondern zusätzlich auch die Option das Farbmanagement des Dokumentes zu übernehmen oder ein entsprechendes voreingestelltes Preset zu…2 votes -

InDesign to accept TeX / LaTeX inputs
Like InDesign is accepting Quark inputs till some version (say version 4.0), I'm expecting such feature to accept TeX / LaTeX input too as many of Authors are still using TeX / LaTeX as inputs and the same need to typeset using TeX / LaTeX software.
If InDesign is accepting these inputs, we can directly include in InDesign and proceed the further typesetting process.
One difficulty is usually TeX / LaTeX inputs will have much mathematical equations.

Stop auto pushing clients into Bridge
Bridge to me feels like a piece of software I don't actually need.
Would it be possible to either:
- Add the ability to block Bridge from auto installing
- Add the ability to remove and or change the short cute that initiates Bridge from downloading and opening, as its only one key away from outline text.

Isolation mode for InDesign
Create an "Isolation mode" for a group InDesign, working like in Illustrator.
Once in isolation mode, only the items in the group are editable. You can select easily multiple items in the Group without touching other items.

Change from "When in doubt, make a layout." to "When it doubt, lay it out." It flows better.

Convert PDF to INDD
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC can edit PDF's read images and text, and it is possible to edit, so why is this function not available in Adobe Indesign? Indesign has more control and the only feature that will needed to be added is detecting strokes/filled objects converting filled lines or shapes to one to the other.

QR-Code - Overprint Attribute for Black not available
QR-Code - make overprint attribute for Black available
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to set the attribute for overprint for a black QR code. As today QR codes are well readable on bright colors or images it definitely would be advantageous if this option would be given to avoid register problems in printing.4 votes
