  1. A preference option to skip all tours

    Tour popups about History Panel and Hide Spreads fonction appears about once a day. This seems like a small detail but no, it is annoying. Thank you.

  2. Stop requiring a resave of documents in new InDesign versions

    I would love it if the Adobe team would figure out a way to have new versions of InDeisgn not require a resave of previously created documents. This is probably THE most annoying feature of using this software. It is not user friendly when you have developed a working method on updating documents month to month, only to be prompted to save the file before any other processes can be performed. I can't tell you how many documents I have "Saved" to my desktop when I thought I was exporting them to PDF. Please fix. Annoying!!

    When using Adobe InDesign, it would be helpful for certain documents to be able to see two pages side by side. As of now, a simple two-page document has page two appearing below page one.

  4. Option to Set Default Save Location for AI-Generated Content to Project Folder in InDesign

    Thank you for introducing the new AI-powered image generation feature in InDesign.
    I would like to suggest an improvement to the way AI-generated content is stored. Currently, these assets are saved by default to the local user folder, which can become problematic when multiple team members need to collaborate on a project. Since the assets are not stored within the shared project folder, this can lead to missing files or confusion when the document is opened by someone else.

    It would be highly beneficial to have an option that allows users to set the default save location for AI-generated content…

  6. Performance on Apple Silicon

    I’m writing to report ongoing performance issues in Adobe InDesign that the latest update unfortunately hasn’t resolved.

    On my Apple Silicon Mac Studio (M2 chip, 64 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD) running macOS Sonoma 15.1.1 (24B91), even simple tasks like switching between a text box (T) and an object (V) have a noticeable delay of about half a second. This was never an issue on my older Intel-based MacBook Pro with Adobe CS, and it’s making normal daily work in InDesign frustratingly slow.

    For comparison, Illustrator performs flawlessly, with instant responses as expected, making the difference between the two apps…

  7. Rearrange Blank Document Presets in InDesign for Custom Order

    I'd love to be able to rearrange blank document presets in InDesign.

    The four options that show on the new document popup are presets that I'll never ever have to use (Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Letter-Half).

    I'd much rather re-order the presets to show A3, A4, A5, A6 first etc.

  8. Export PDF, IDML and jpeg at the same time

    It would be great if user could export document as PDF, jpeg and IDML at the same time. Something similar to package menu, but jus export menu, where user can choose several export formats

  9. Please allow the Anu Script Fonts in Future adobe applications

    Must of the Telugu designers using Anu fonts only, So please adding anu script font directly type in indesign, photoshop and Illustrater

    In older versions CS2, CS3 is support for anu script

    But New versions 2024, 2025 is problem in Anu Script typing

    Please take action for support anu script in new version also

  10. Big bug that's been bugging me for too long: the extracted directory has a lot of duplicate entries.

    I've been researching this for a while and I've kind of found the reason.
    It's when you set “Skip header rows on first page” for some tables that are actually only one page long, that's when the problem occurs.

    But I hope adobe will improve it, because you don't know which tables don't end up spanning the page.
    You forget about it, and when the client finds out, you get yelled at, or even become an accident.

    The current solution can only save as IDML, but you can't save as IDML very often.

  11. Ability to set a layer to high res preview permanently

    It would be great to be able to set a layer to high res preview permanently. So that everytime you opened a document it remembered that Layer 2 for example needs to be high res preview.

    Reason for this: I work with a lot of dies in packaging, and when I link to them they always lose the high res view, but I need the high res view for the die so I can precisely design.

  13. Make Edit Original available with Adobe Experience Manager

    Hello, we recently implemented Adobe Experience Manager as our DAM and since then we lost the EDIT ORIGINAL option for our links in InDesign which is a heavily used feature for us given that some of our designers are spending a lot more time having to open different tools to edit each link. Anyway we can get that back?

  14. Can we swap 'Don't Save' and 'Cancel' back the way they were in all Adobe apps please.

    Can we swap 'Don't Save' and 'Cancel' back the way they were in all Adobe apps please. I'm not sure why this change was made, it doesn't seem to make any sense to have swapped these and it's driving me and everyone in my workplace absolutely mental. It has been the other way round for decades, it's ingrained in every single one us since we were birthed into the adobe suite. Please for the love of god change it back. Regards, Everyone everywhere in the Adobe universe.

  16. why can I not snap InDesign using MacOS window snapping features?

    I am unable to snap two adobe products side by side using the new MacOS Sequoia update. I can snap every app on my Macbook except adobe products. as you can see in the screenshot I have snapped my music app window to the right but adobe indesign is unable to snap. Please can you fix this annoying bug?

  17. Request for Text Alignment Option for Interactive Forms Directly in InDesign

    Dear Adobe InDesign Team,

    I would like to request the addition of a feature that allows text alignment for interactive forms to be managed directly within InDesign, rather than having to perform this task in Adobe Acrobat.

    Currently, our workflow involves creating datasheets with centered ordering codes, which are frequently updated. Each update requires redoing the text alignment in Acrobat, adding unnecessary steps to our process. This is both time-consuming and frustrating, especially for what should be a simple text alignment adjustment.

  18. Support for "TDM", "PDF/UA" and "PLUS License Data Format" in XMP-Metadata

    Missing support for "TDM", "PDF/UA" and "PLUS License Data Format" in XMP-Metadata in all Adobe apps.
    There are not data fields for "TDM" (text-and-data-mining), PDF/UA (accessibility) and "PLUS License Data Format" in the UI of all Adobe apps.
    This information can currently only be added manually by import of an XML-Snippet-File in the tab "raw-data".
    Or with InDesign scripting and the library "lib:AdobeXMPScript".

  20. Option to disable the drop shadow in artboard on screen mode "Normal" of the "View" menu

    Please, enable an option to disable the drop shadow on the artboard in 'Normal' screen mode in the 'View' menu (on the right side and in the footer of the artboard/sheet). The shadow makes it very difficult to achieve accurate positioning and alignment of objects. I found several people on Google complaining about the same thing, and there is no solution! The "Preview", "Bleed" and "Spacer" options do not have the shadow, but they also do not display what is on the workspace outside of the artboard/sheet.
