Ability to add color labels to individual styles to better organize and manage large lists of styles
76 votesAn error occurred while saving the comment pia commentedstill on my mind..
An error occurred while saving the comment pia commentedjust wanna add some "numbers" too, so that adobe get a better view for this need:
our template file has 470 styles & master pages x2 for a second language.
..sometimes a language swipe function for styles would be awesome too...An error occurred while saving the comment pia commentedFor big documents with lots of paragraph, table, cell, character styles it would be wonderful, if you can organize it not only with folder as well with different colors so you could easily find the right category. Designers are optical users - so it would be great if u didn't have to search a long list through text. With color you could get a more organized view.
And also, it would be fine when you click on one text field getting an info, which paragraph, character, table, cell style it has on the top as an overview info. It would help for a quick control check.

An error occurred while saving the comment pia commentedAgree.
Change all character styles, paragraph styles at the same time a function. For example, I would have to work through 50 booklets of data that have over 300 templates per file, since some are different, unfortunately I can't just synchronize the templates for all the booklets but have to work per file. It would be good if the "Find/Replace" function also applies to styles, where you can then switch off a function (e.g. conditional ligatures).pia supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment pia commentedI agree wholeheartedly. Currently, however, the exact position is not even displayed in Indesign itself, but I have to somehow guess which position/word/letter is meant. A more precise marking would be desirable here. Both in the web interface and in Indesign.
In addition, it would be good if you can mark the changes made as done in Indesign, but the comment should not disappear, because otherwise the respective colleague has no overview of what he had given for control. Thus, it should somehow still be apparent what should be corrected for comparison.
