Thank you for reporting the issue to us.
We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 14.0.3Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.
If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud desktop application, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right corner and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.

And an option to remove all sticky notes! When placed above text frames, they make editing text in InDesign incredibly slow.
Besides, it is not possible to delete them by just hitting the delete button, so deleting them one by one requires three clicks for each comment.
And it seems there are no keyboard shortcuts for any of this either.
Perhaps I should make it a habit to delete all sticky notes from the PDFs before importing :-(Anonymous

We have seen this all too often: Someone packages and does not notice that the images in AI files are missing, and deletes all apparently unused files before archiving. And how are they supposed to know? Preflight does not detect it, and there is no warning on packaging. Nasty surprise when a new version is to be made five years later! If you are lucky, the hires PDFs used for printing are still available ...

Thanks for making this request. In order to understand the use-case more better I have a few questions:
1. Whats the role of the different people working collaboratively on the same file. Are they always only designers or are other personas also involved.
2. What is the use-case here, some parts of this request suggest an Editorial collaboration whereas others suggest collaboration amongst different designers. I am trying to separate these 2 requests out.
3. What are the different kind of files (brochures, books, magazines etc) for which this is required.
4. Does it need to be a web based service, or having the user be able to collaborate on one shared file using InDesign or InCopy on the Desktop will work? What is the advantage you feel over a web-service over the desktop app?
5. How do you workaround this need today? What are the most important problems with…Anonymous

I am still having theses issues, in version 18.2. Especially when at lot of text is to be deleted, or when text is to be inserted just after something was deleted.
