    It seems that this should be a fairly simple thing to implement. None of the other CC programs have this problem, and it adds "adjust to correct size and position" an extra unnecessary step for the user every time InDesign opens.

  2. Turn paths into guides with the right click menu "Make guides" like in Illustrator.
