I would like a way to add a bullet and indent to a paragraph style without having to make a bunch of new paragraph styles, though.

But if there are italics or other character styles applied inside the bullet paragraph, you couldn't apply the bullet character style to the whole thing.

I like the idea a lot. Is there a way you could use the table of contents feature to accomplish this? If it has to list the file names, you'd have to put them in each file somewhere and give them a style, but if every file has a heading or title that would also work, then maybe you could set up a TOC that collects those.
